Tulip Residence & Spa Hotel

I loved the design of the interior, however, walking up and down to the 3rd floor was hard on bad knees. The staff was very welcoming but the chef could not cook my steak properly. Even though I asked for it to be very, very well-done with no pink, it came to me barely medium. The next time, it came to me rare. The wondrrful man who waited on us offered to send desserys to our room to compensate. The ladies who gave us our Thai massages were wonderful! The early morning construction noises were difficult.

I am sorry, my experience may have been unusual. When we arrived late at night around 1:30am, the staff told us, that they did not get the Expedia reservation. I found that a bit strange. It may simply be, that they thought we would not turn up and gave the room to another guest instead. They were at least so kind to help us find another room, but it was a bit less quality. They also paid the taxi to the other hotel.

Very nice boutique hotel

This is my second stay here. Breakfast is served in the garden restaurant (very nice). Had the Thai traditional massage and it was very good.

A Great Hotel

My wife and I really enjoyed this nice hotel with Thai Restaurant on premise. There were little huts outside to sit and enjoy a private meal. A lot of bamboo accents around lobby and they offered a indoor as well as outdoor bar. Room had a mini bar stocked. My wife especially liked the carafe in the room for boiling water to make tea or coffee. Well worth the short drive from the airport. The area around the hotel is still under development and should be a nicer place to go walking around in the future. There was plenty for us to do at the hotel, sauna, spa, massage.and using the free wifi. Taxi's are punctual and it's not a problem to get around town and back to the hotel.

Great Hotel- Expedia failed to make reservation.

Fantastic hotel. Great food. Girlfriend loved her Thai massage. If only Expedia had done their job and booked it when I made the reservation online, it would have been a perfect stay. I called Expedia in Ottawa from Moldova at my expense, reported to support and absolutely no help from Expedia. The internet app new about my reservation but Expedia and the hotel did not. Dont trust Expedia. Double check all reservations yourself.

Secluded comfort in Chisinau

My partner and I spent a very pleasant and comfortable 9 days here while conducting business in Chisinau. The staff are super-helpful and friendly and all speak English. There is a very good Thai restaurant with wonderful dishes, good prices, and prompt service. The Thai theme is maintained by the fact that traditional Thai massages are available and are also very good value (25 euro for 90 minutes) and can be booked for any time of the day. The one thing that may be offputting is the hotel's location, which is quite far from the city centre (about 15 minutes by car) but this really depends on how you look at it. For us, it was a welcome retreat and the green space at the back of the hotel where meals are served in wonderful tents provided a relaxing location to unwind in the evenings. Will definitely stay here again during my next visit.
