Ocean Suites Jeju Hotel

Location is perfect. Room and service were great.

the male staff in the early morning section wasn’t helpful during my checkin checkout time. Other staff during day and night time were extremely fine. The hotel offered to send postcard to overseas at 500won each. Sea view room is nice and window can be open if the room heater is too hot.

We’d just checked in at 11pm for 2 rooms, Deluxe twin with ocean views. We are so disappointed that the views are not as what we’d expected, as shown in the photos on the website. What we got instead are views of buildings and the streets. The ocean view we did get is just a partial view to the left. We feel cheated and not worth the price we paid. It shouldn’t matter what time we check in cos we should still be able to enjoy the view we paid for when we wake up in the morning. To those who wish to book deluxe twin room with ocean view, be sure to avoid rooms 734 and 736, unless you don’t mind a partial seaview. Hotel should be clear and inform guests that rooms available are with full ocean view or partial ocean view with the correct photos attached so guests can make informed choices when they select the rooms at the time of booking.

Almost perfect except for the fitness/gym. The equipment are too old 😕

There are many restaurants and bars nearby the hotel in walking distance. Massage service at the hotel is excellent. One caveat is that their 'ocean view deluxe room' is not entirely ocean view. It actually faces more toward city. You have to look out at a certain angle to get the view of ocean.

Location was good and near supermarkets and restaurants. If your intention was to have an ocean-facing hotel room with beach access, save your money as the room I was given was partially blocked and the view wasn't that great, not for the extra dollars that is. Beach access is not possible at this area of the town so stay somewhere further out if that was what you had in mind. The showers leak out to the wash basin area, and the pillows were dusty. But other than that the room was in good condition.

Our room was large and clean. The hotel is few minutes away from Jeju airport and in the Jeju city, making it pretty comfortable to go around quite easily. The breakfast buffet was good and service in general was nice.

Richard was extremely helpful. He helped us with our luggage and getting settled in our room. He also helped me reserve seats on a tour. Finally, he helped us get a taxi ride and inquired if we had reached our destination.
