Great location

The hotel is fine but being one of the older hotels it lacks the expected facilties these days, no power points by the bed, no switch to turn off all the lights, one power point for whole room to charge gadgets. Also the shower is great but is within the bad tub, so if you have mobility issues be careful.

Check-in was quite smooth, just a little surprised we were handed the room cards and told to make our own way to the 5th floor and that our luggage would be sent up shortly. The cleaners on the 5th and 11th floor which we were moved to were very helpful. Rooms are pretty basic for the rates we paid. Good selection of breakfast. Breakfast room staff however seemed rushed off their feet and it was rather chaotic and disorganised. Overall good location, near the Haram and convenient.

Room was very small for 3 of us, very tight space, washroom has many untidy repairs, doesn't look like a 5 star washroom and overall facility, quite dated. Ordinary breakfast. On the positive side very helpful and responsive staff including guest/ room service and concierge, they gladly gave us late check out as well. That may be the only reason we may comeback again on our next trip

Visit to Madinah

Even though this hotel is rated 5 star it really isnt. It is old and everything is well worn. It needs a good update. We stayed at the end of December so the weather us lovely. But the room was cold and bedding is very thin. The safe is small and the bathroom had very few toiletries for a 5 star. Breakfast was average too. It is in a perfect location obviously more or less on the doorstep of the haram. For the price you are getting a 3 or 4 star level hotel.

for two days they have not cleaned our rooms poor quality breakfast the hotel is old dated and not clean at all and its not worth the price
