Lovely hotel with beautiful views

Excellent stay! The room was clean and comfortable. The property is lovely with great ocean views from the pools and restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was a plus and the hotel staff were very accommodating. A great place to relax and enjoy life!

Simply fantastic!

Simply fantastic. We stayed at several locations on the trip. The service here was the best. The Costa Ricans are incredibly friendly people but the service we received at Camino Verde was taken to a different level. We couldn't have been more impressed. All the staff were genuine, extremely helpful, and went out of their way to make the stay great. Can't recommend high enough.

Wonderful simple place. Upscale hostel with wonderful views, incredibly nice staff, yummy breakfast. Access to the kitchen and walking to the center of town. Very close to the park, and nice clean bathroom with solar heated water.

Perhaps the best thing about this property is the willingness of the Front Desk clerk to assist with any tour arrangements and general town info. Beyond that, the property is clean and well managed. Set atop the mountains, strong winds can be heard from your room. Be aware, many perks like the laundry service are cash only. (colones or dollars)

What an amazing place! The best part is the amazing staff, but it's also a clean space, with an amazing view, that is in an incredibly walkable location for Monteverde. Booking a tour through them was unfortunately cash only, but it was definitely a worthwhile experience!

The staff was nothing but amazing- from the front desk personnel to the kitchen staff- everyone was friendly and super helpful! This place was walking distance to everything and even helped us book our exCursions in Monteverde! Breakfast was delicious and very quick! I was also amazed with how comfortable the beds were- from the pillows to the soft comfortable blankets! Loved this place!

We stayed in the private apartment which was BEAUTIFUL - well decorated, spacious, and great amenities. The wood fire stove kept us warm on a cool, rainy night. Private parking spot was convenient. We were so comfortable in the apartment and felt like we had space to relax (we were even able to watch the Super Bowl game on the television during our stay). We were able to book massages and facial treatments in the apartment. Breakfast was excellent. Diego had wonderful recommendations for activities in the area and booked them for us. The only thing I wished we had planned was ordering some local cuisine to enjoy on the private patio with outdoor dining table. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend Camino Verde to any friend traveling to Monteverde.

We were very pleased with our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room that is far from the road.
