Quaint little hotel arrived a little late so didn't try restaurant but pleasant enough stay

Outside appearance deceiving, far better inside. Friendly staff, clean room with quirky shower Room, good pub food very reasonably priced. Efficient breakfast with good choice but no muesli.

Good location to visit local places of interest. Good breakfast but choices not always available. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Would visit this hotel again when in the area.

Good location opposite the town park and play area and near the local Tesco store and petrol station. Ideal for parking, taking in the town and surrounding area. Staff friendly and efficient. Meals good quality and value for money.

No hot water in bathroom sink, room is a bit tired, bedding marked and past it's best,

Staff and locals were superb, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were good.

Let me start with the positive: The staff were very friendly and polite and the food was really nice. Lovely breakfast and dinner in a nice atmosphere. Overall, it was fine for one night and the kids enjoyed it. Now for the negative: We had booked a family room for two adults and two children through Expedia but when we arrived the room we were given only had one double bed and one single bed in it. We were told a camp bed would be provided later "to give us more room". The room (no.5) was only really big enough for a family of three, there were three of everything like soap, towels, cups etc. so we were disappointed upon arrival and felt that we were clearly being lied to by the management on this matter. The en-suite didn't have much space and the sink was half size - no bath only a shower and the en-suite seemed a bit grubby in places. No shelf to put anything on apart from a small window-sill which had paint blistering on it. The towels and some of the pillows didn't smell too clean and there was a musty smell about the room and hall.The room in general was very dated and although fine for one night we wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer.
