Hotel was beautifully located at the waters edge which gave it a sense of calm. It was very busy but sadly the service was poor. The majority of the staff were very young and I suspect more to do with poor training than poor attitude.

Amazing location with very good F & B service. Gym is ver small & limited and the property over-all is very tired.

Nice hotel

Location is perfect! Absolutely stunning! Wait staff were quite slow though. We had lunch on the terrace, we seated ourselves then after waiting about 10 minutes I had to go and ask for menus (two staff were just standing around). There were millions of wasps in the garden so we decided to move inside. Had to make several trips with plates and glasses and again staff offered no help, they stood watching. Bar staff and reception staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay, very chatty and nice. Room itself was stunning, the view was second to none. I’d highly recommend the rooms with a lake view.

Pure luxury for our honeymoon.

The room wasn't the largest room but it was comfortable. The hotel was expensive and all of the extras added up at the end of the break but we were there to spoil ourselves. The food was really good, plenty of choice at breakfast. The pool was great and we picked our times so that it was relatively empty, loved all the Molton Brown products in the showers at the pool. We enjoyed a massage there(at a price) but it was very relaxing. The staff could not do enough for us, the waitress even organising different desserts for my husband to cater for his food intolerance. The views from the hotel conservatory were wonderful and we truly felt that we had been spoilt. If you want a treat then this is the perfect place. We will definitley be going back.

we had a lovely stay . receptioon staff were helpful and showed you round on arrival. the room was nicely decorated, nice toiletries, but room was quite small. it was great to have a pool and spa. but the pool and jacuzzi were a bit cold for me. the lakeside restaurant - food was good quality and staff attentive. overall a great stay, shame about the pool

Beautiful location

We had a sensational time here. Stunning location, exemplary staff and delicious food. Highlight was having lunch out of their lawns by the lake. I would recommend their lemon tart! Staff were accommodating and experienced. Room was extremely comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Only downside was overcooked boiled egg! Such a disappointment after delicious cooked breakfast previous day. Dinner was faultless however with fabulous roast potatoes and perfectly cooked steak. Would definitely return.
