Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5

The property was quiet but it is not as close to the airport as it claims on the website.

Perfect for relaxing before our flight the next day

Not up for catering for large groups and parties. Appeared totally disorganized when serving the meal. Sat down at around 8pm. Dessert still not arrived at 10.30 pm

A fantstic spot to stay. Parking is tight, double parking happens a lot, but the staff are great and the food is superb.

None of the ice machines worked on any floor. Almost impossible to contact anyone via the room phone. No one answered either room service,front desk or the operator. All I wanted was room service but I could have been dying!

My plane was cancelled - I needed to stay at airport over night - went onto Hotels.com - the hotel was listed as being at Terminal 5 where I was and also flying out of the next morning. As I have often stayed at Hilton's, I booked thinking I could walk there - then I found out that it was 1.2 miles away and it was a hassle getting there. Called Hotels.com and the hotel to get release so I could stay at the Sofitel which was right there. Hotels.com said they could only do so if the hotel released it - they refused. The manager tried to make it up to me, but quite frankly the hotel was not very good - there was urine in the toilet bowl and the executive lounge food offerings were very poor.

Wanted a quite Bday and that’s what I got with lovely friendly bar staff and waiters. Staff at reception were also friendly. Room was lovely and comfortable. To my surprise a slice of cake with candy stick and strawberries was sent to my room. This was a surprise as I just mentioned Bday to reception staff on arrival. Lovely thought and gesture. I will definitely go again.

Staff was ill informed in every aspect. We were told upon arrival that if we planned to have dinner there we had to have reservations. Since I didn’t know how soon we would be ready we refused. Later we went directly to the restaurant which was mostly empty so getting a table was no problem. We asked for two room keys we got one. We were given wrong info for the airport bus. No one seemed to know what they were doing. Completely inept staff. One bar of soap in the bath so had to use that for hand washing and shower area. No bathrobes which I would have expected in this price range. Not very clean bath. I am Hilton Honors Member but will not be using them again. Last couple of times we’ve noticed the change since new Chinese ownership and it has not been good. What used to be first class s now a cheap hotel at an expensive price point.

Location near Terminal 5 convienient! Hotel feeling like could use some refreshing in places... comfortable room and bathroom!

Nice Hotel good location for Heathrow when you have an early flight , good restaurant especially Mr Todiwallas Kitchen .
