Giardino sul Duomo

Lovely place. Lots of steps!!

The rooms are mostly converted homes adjoined to the main complex. It’s like you live on the terraced street. The room was very clean and comfortable. Slept really well. The “City View” was a bit of a let down. You see the other side of the road unless you step out onto the balcony and crane your neck. Breakfast was very good, with COVID measures so no formal buffet. Felt safe.

Amazing tranquil setting minutes from the heart of the old centre. Pool and garden so beautiful and the staff really helpful and making sure you relax and beautifully organised with lots of space for Covid arrangements

Unforgettable views

Amazing location right in the heart of the historic town with great views over the valley. Couldn’t fault the hosts or the cleanliness, only gripes would be that the air con seemed to be stuck at a very low setting in the room and there weren’t enough plug sockets. That said, would happily recommend and return to stay.

Enjoy your breakfast in the beautiful garden or just take a dive in the swimming pool. This B&B is also ideally located for your walk around Ragusa. You are just a few steps away from the duomo. It’s impossible to be more central :-). We really enjoyed our stay!

A Hanuary break. The staff here were lovely and helpful. It was January so no pool or jacuzzi at the property and Ragusa was quiet until the Saturday evening and Sunday.

Cosy hotel in Ragusa

It was a great hotel, cosy and very helpsom staff. There was a problem with the heat in the room and it was November so a little to cold.

Memorable stay in Ragusa

Giardino sul Duomo is an extraordinary little B&B, and reason enough to make a visit to Ragusa, especially if you are in Sicily. It consists of 14 rooms around a 400-year-old landmark garden, with fruit and nut trees, flowers and a pool, Giardino Sul Duomo's owner, Michele, who said he was 33, has created a wonderful peaceful world in this beautiful hilltop city in southeastern Sicily. Most of the town is walkable, and there are sweet parks, shops, nice restaurants and a great ambience. Our room was large, well-appointed, and had a big bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Breakfast was great, in a dining room overlooking the garden, and Michele's restaurant suggestions were perfect. The location in Ibla was great for sights, and the price was reasonable for the level of luxury. We came off-season, but the place was nearly full. It's definitely worth booking ahead.

Beautiful garden and view. Good location to main street but there are stairs like any hill town. Spacious room and comfortable bed Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. We only had 1 night there and wish we could have stayed 2. Ragusa is a very beautiful town with great restaurants Not overrun with tourists.

Very nice property. Breakfast was a bit perfunctory (except for the pastries). Very friendly management. We'll stay again next time. Great views, lovely grounds. Perfect fit for Ragusa.
