Casa de Isabella, a Kali Hotel

This was place was top notch. The staff was super friendly and it was really a visually appealing hotel and by far the best bed I’ve slept in in Colombia and there have been many. Did I mention the breakfast was incredible. A complete flavor-gasm! Great location and if you want ocean view you’ll have to get a suite.

Beautiful little hotel. Really good location near la Plaza de los Novios where you can find good bars and restaurants and really close to the Marina where you can go to boating excursions or just walk by the beach. All employees were great.

Not what expected

1. Private pool more like jacuzzi, as we don't have information about water quantity we not enter. Any way is not pleasant looks, nothing romantic. 2. Breakfast is from 8am to 10 am. But really we come 8am but whey serve us 8 30 exactly time when we book taxi to airport. So not good service at all. So do not waist moneys for suit room, we believe is overpriced also Breakfast service very bad.

Excellent Santa Marta getaway

Wonderful location. It's two blocks from the Parque de los Novios with its restaurants, street musicians, and hundreds of people out to enjoy the evenings. Also two blocks from the waterfront with bars and a gorgeous sunsets. Across the street is Guasimo, perhaps the best fine dining restaurant in the city. Down the block is also Bananas "Disco" (in fact a brothel), but its noise does not affect the hotel. Only disappointment--the hotel appears to have a rooftop lounging area, but it isn't accessible to guests staying in the normal rooms

Very good, Great Location

Great central location. Interestingly furnished and decorated rooms. All very clean. My room had a four poster bed. Pleasant and helpful staff. The one annoyance in my case was that there was a table for two used by other guests for breakfast and staff for their lunches right up against the main window into the courtyard of my ground floor room. So I could not open the shutters while people were there without being face to face with them. I should have just done so and scared them off! Other room will not have that problem. Seemed unique to mine. If given that room, suggest opening shutters in advance to deter diners (or maybe you don't care).

The breakfast was amazing and the staff were really friendly. I paid a lot of money for the suite though and couldn’t sleep for two nights straight because building next to us had dogs barking the entire night. A real shame because otherwise would’ve been very nice. Welcome to Colombia

One of the best stays in Santa Marta.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Santa Marta; just charming. We had the suite, which is really a nice regular room, but it has its own rooftop swimming pool, patio and balcony. I have stayed here before. It is a great value. Friendly staff. Not the cheapest in town, but a bargain for how pleasant the hotel is.

The hotel was quite and clean, and in a great location. The staff at the front desk spoke English and were very helpful. We stayed here after doing the lost city trek, and it was a great place to relax by the pool and cool off.
