Travelodge by Wyndham Lloydminster

Staff was awesome, the hotel was very clean. Rooms are dates but clean. Only complaint is the pillows are way to puffy, all 4 on the bed are the same. Would be nice to have different thicknesses. Definitely will be back, when in Lloydminster.

When we first checked in the front desk called housekeeping to make sure our room was ready when we got to our room it had not been cleaned it all the beds were mess sheets ripped off pillows across the room we went down to the front desk and they offered us a new room no apologies or anything

It's a large property and we were actually grateful for the walk to our room. I didn't like the light coming through my blinds from the pool area, znd we were on the third floor. Breafast was all carbs, because the work crews seemed to clean out the protein ( yogurts and boiled eggs). Staff were all very friendly.

I spent 30 munites at the reception arguing with the staff about my room. The night staff told me my room was given away to someone else. I told him it is not possible because u was in the room until 8pm. On top of that my 3 children with their daymd were inside sleeping. He wouldnt give me my key to the room. After 30 munites and telling me that i am on 3 different room . He gave the key. I was very disappointed

Basic and that’s about it.

Staff was friendly and the hotel was fairly clean but is a bit older so it looks a bit run down. Don’t expect more than the bare minimum. We stayed at a few hotels in a row and this one didn’t attempt to provide any services during COVID. Their pool was shutdown completely, while the hotel we stayed at the night before kept their pool open but limited the number of guests using it at any given time. The traveldoge’s breakfast, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel was non-existent. Again, a hotel we stayed at the following night had individually wrapped items like bagels, English muffins, etc. Yogurt, oranges and bananas (because you peel them yourself), granola bars and so on. So, if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep for the night and nothing else, you can get a good price for a room but don’t expect anything more.

I didnt like my room facing the highway. It was pretty loud overnight. Got in late and had been on the road all day. Went for a bit at the irish pub. Had the 4 cheese burger. It was just ok. The comp breakfast was pretty good though. Room was very clean. If possible get one not facing the highway.
