Hotel Jadran

Good location, good breakfast & clean.

Nothing major to complain about. 7/8 mins walk to city centre, 20mins airport transfer, helpful staff and good breakfast. The only negatives are small twin beds. I would stop again

Stay here at your own risk!!!

This is a rip-off hotel. They told me a cab would cost $200 kuna ($31) U.S. and then when I returned driver says it's $200 Euro and got mad when I said it was not in Euro! He got the the desk clerk who arranged who said I misunderstood how much it was when he quoted me. Of course the taxi driver used to work at the hotel. Baloney. Manager Natalia said she would reimburse me for the extra taxi cost but did not! Another lie! Also had trouble getting hotel adapters to work with electrical appliances from U.S. Have been to many countries in Europe and have never had a hotel work in partners with a taxi to rip off a guest.

Great place to stay

The hotel is a good choice since it’s only a 5 minute walk to the old town with tons of restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel is clean, comfy beds and linens. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. A taxi to the airport was about 200kuna.

Defent budget hotel

The front desk attendant was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. It is definitely a budget hotel. The room was small and there are very few amenities. But, if you want to save money, it’s a good value.

Hotel Jadran is a very clean, modern accommodation, conveniently located close to the centre of the city, and next to the beautiful Importanne shopping centre. The staff is friendly and helping. Buffet breakfast was excellent. However, shower stall is missing a wall handle to prevent falls and a shelf for soap, shampoo and other accessories.. The soap dispensors were useless since they were empty although unnecessary anyway..

The property is centrally located. It is 26 miles from Zagreb Airport. Things to know: The taxi drivers are thieves. Do not pay more than 100-180 kuna ($15-25) for a taxi from the airport to the hotel (ask before you accept the ride and ask for a receipt) i was charged 380 kuna by a taxi thief, this is robbery. The surrounding area is very touristic, pay for the hotel breakfast, it is very good. The rooms are basic, if you just need a room that is 3-5 min walking to the center, this is a good option. If you need amenities, go somewhere else. The registration staff is extremely nice and very accommodating. They allowed us early check in and helped us to find a bus to Split. She even called us a taxi who wouldn't rob us of our last kuna for the drive to the bus station! There is no airport shuttle to/from this hotel, plan accordingly. Overall, I'm happy with our stay at Hotel Jadran. Also, they speak very good English so language isn't an issue.

Great location for stop over

Easy to find, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Great location to see the city center and enjoy the sights. Close to train station for our onward journey.

Central Zagreb stay

Always a pleasure to stay in Hotel Jadran. It's in the centre of Zagreb, yet not at the prices of other central 'brand' hotels.
