Rumi Wasi

Conveniently located near the main square two blocks up a hill. We had the room next to the road which was noisy however, especially with the doorbell ringing numerous times from 5 am and people walking in and out. The narrow room and bed was comfortable with strong shower and hot water, and had a roof terrace with a spectacular view overlooking the city. The breakfast could be improved upon: only local bread rather than toast, and no yoghurt or cereal. Insufficient water in room: two small bottles, although there is a water dispenser downstairs. We felt misled by the photos of the property as it seemed to describe a much larger place. Free airport shuttle service was excellent and on time.

Large size rooms. Only have 8 rooms. No front desk but you can call or holler and get quick response. Beautiful view from balcony. Not a typical hotel but great place to stay and only 3 min walk from the plaza de Armas. They ask you night before for breakfast menu and have it ready at desired time.

The property is beautiful, clean and central to down town. Maria was amazing!

Excellent experience ! Stayed there last week during our trekking around in Cusco. Service was really attentive, staff would give us a a form to fill out night before, and breakfast would be delivered next morning. If we had really early tours set up, they would have a special to-go breakfast. And for the cold nights, they would put water bottles under your sheets which was also welcomed in the cold beds. Staff is only 4 or 5 girls, and 1 manager but they work tirelessly to make your stay memorable !

I stayed here was my family, only one night, with regret, I should have stayed at this hotel the whole time I was there in Cusco, I was in Peru 10days in total, and at 3 hotel and this was the BEST hotel I stayed at great service, breakfast was served in my room coffee was fresh and if I need anything, I received it, great place ! You get what you pay for. Very happy with this hotel.

Rumi wasi was an excellent place to stay. The service was amazing and the staff has great attention to detail. It is convenient to town and to many great restaurants. The rooms were cute and they have a great little terrace to enjoy breakfast or drinks.

Loved this hotel. Very convenient location to the Plaza. The staff was wonderful as well as the Miguel the hotel’s manager.

This was a return stay after a big trek and it was like returning home! The staff, Maria, Yolanda, etc were always helpful. The room was nice and cozy with modern amenities. The location is near the main square. Everything is good as a package, from the free and always available water and hot drinks, the breakfasts to the walkable location to the main areas.
