2 night stay in Helsinki

We stayed at the Clarion in Helsinki on a short trip. Fully enjoyed our stay. The hotel is not close to downtown but there is plenty around the hotel and it’s a long walk or short taxi ride from the city center. Gym was decently equipped. Outdoor roof top pool was amazing as well as the sauna. The free breakfast had a lot of options for food. There is also a bar on one of the top floors which has one of the better views in the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel and if I go back to Helsinki I’ll stay here

Kenkälusikka olisi iso plussa, huoneen kylppärissä kylpyammeen kohdalla oli irronnut lattiaa tai jotakin, joka aiheutti reiän. Disney ei näkynyt chromecastin kanssa ollenkaan, muut suoratoisto palvelut toimivat.

I booked this hotel for the shared amenities, not the hotel room itself, and my visit bore this out. Unfortunately, the gorgeous pool and sauna were closed due to the pandemic, and the Sky Room bar had limited hours - obviously these are things outside the control of the hotel. Sky Room has amazing views. The hotel breakfast was also excellent. The room itself was clean and modern, but small and frankly not worth the hefty price tag. I was disappointed that a $200 /night room did not include robes, for example, and showed some wear and tear. The location is conveniently walkable, but not particularly inspiring (and there are cheaper nice hotels closer to downtown). Staff were friendly and professional. I would imagine this hotel to be good value, once pandemic restrictions ease up, to those who intend to make the most of the pool, sauna, and top-floor bar. For those looking to spend more time in their hotel room, there are better options available.

Perfect business hotel

Great business hotel with decent facilities. Favourite was the rooftop swimming pool and sauna, well worth bringing some swim wear for. Restaurant closed at 9pm which was a bit early, however local restaurants within walking distance. Standard rooms are quite cosy and an internal room had no view which was a shame!

Sparkling, comfy, great view

For first-time visitor to Helsinki, the Clarion was perfect. Sparkling clean, comfy beds (though standard rooms feel small), and great staff. The staff was eager to share restaurant and other places to explore. There's a great Nepali restaurant across the street, entertaining pub next door, and spa not far. This is a big hotel with 400+ rooms, but felt like small hotel service. Expansive city view and harbor view from the top-floor lounge, gym and pool. Note that it's not in the heart of the city, which is a 10-minute walk or tram ride away. Would definitely stay here again.

Would return

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and a very comfy bed. Room was small but nice. Good location just a few minutes from downtown.
