Inn at the Prom

Room was filthy and not set up properly.

The room was filthy, toilet ful of poo, flooded bathroom when we flushed it, not cleaned, dust on everything, food crumbs on floors, big wet spot of floor they put carpet fresh on top of dog pee, big wet spot. 4 guests they didn't put bedding on extra bed, we didn't notice until after 9 and office was closed, only 2 towels 4 people, one wash cloth, 1 hand towel, the pillows on couch actually crusty, the blanket top on bed was so dirty. They apologized when i complained they said only 1 cleaner for 20 rooms.. They say it like that justifies it. Then tell people the room is dirty and we can decide. Not like they charge less cuz it's gross. I would have not chose that.

Not so clean, not so great service

We got to the hotel, checked in the app said it had partial views.. We had a veiw of the parking lot.. I thought oh well, at least I have the tub.. pulled out the hide a bed for the kids, one had no sheet, the other was full of sand, food, and a clump of hair. Went to the office asked for some sheets. The main reason I booked this hotel was for the jetted tub By the time we got back to the hotel for the night it was late, there was a guy digging through the garbage in a an area were there wasn't very much light, scared the crap out of us. Got into our room, climbed into the tub and No Jets. First thing I told them tub wasn't working, the lady at the counter said she would have someone come take a look at it in an hour. This was about 10am, said we would be out at the promenade so go ahead and go in. No problem. Return about 1:30pm.. Still not working, go to the office, she had a guy come in and look at it. He had me fill it with water, he came back pressed the button a few times and said I don't know what's wrong with it. I don't have time to fix it, I am busy.. I told him this was the reason I booked this hotel in the first place, He said nothing I can do, sorry and left. I won't book here again.. I booked 2 rooms for two nights spent 800 (if I didn't have 2 free nights from the app it would have been 1100 and you can't fix the tub?!?! I am sorry but, I feel that if you pay for something, you should get it. Pretty terrible service. I don't recommend this place at all.

Amazing

2nd time staying here...and we loved it! Jacuzzi tub worked great, cooked up some food, enjoyed the patio looking over the ocean.

Nice view, but barking dogs and thin walls

could hear every move the people above us around us made. Not just random footsteps or murmurs from the hall but you could tell exactly what they were doing and sometimes full conversations. And then the barking began …and didn’t stop. I don’t know if it was just the combination of the thin walls, management trying to accommodate too many dog friendly rooms in a small area or rude thoughtless dog owners but by the next day, we felt like we slept in a dog kennel. The first room had dogs barking and growling every time anyone entered the hall. The room to our right had a big dog that whined for the whole evening which set the other dog off across the hall and two doors to our left which then started the dogs at the beginning of the hall barking all over again. This went on all evening. It seemed like the owners ditched their dogs and went out on the town. When the owners showed back up, it just added to the noise. Some had the bright idea of putting their dog on the balcony so they didn’t have to listen to the scream -yapping but that just left us with another direction of incoming whining and barking. And wouldn’t you know it, but the whole thing started again at 6am the next morning. Since it was our anniversary, we splurged on our room so that we could enjoy our room as well as the local attractions but we might as well of rented a room next to the dog pound. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

Nice Enough for Girls Weekend

The room was nice enough for our girls weekend stay. We stayed in most of the weekend. As for things that could be improved, there was a piece of the kitchen cabinets that fell off immediately, one of the outlet covers in the living room was dangling on the lamp cord, the fireplace never worked (yes, we tried the timer near the kitchen and the switch near the bedroom door), and the TV wouldn't connect to the wifi so streaming services were not available. There was a handprint on the bedroom mirror at about eye level when we arrived. But that bathroom/tub was really nice and the bed was comfortable!

Good room

The room served its purpose. I wish we would have had a view of the ocean instead of a parking lot. Overall we'd probably stay here again. Our friends were staying at a different hotel and had noise issues with their shared walls - we didn't have any of those issues.

I love this little quiet getaway from the city life. The staff are super friendly and the room is a good room near the beach. It’s not stuffy and is very comfortable. Plus the bath tub is to die for.

Noisy!!

Stayed February 10-12 room was right next to construction couldnt open blinds or door do to the noise! They started working at 8 oclock in the morning even on Saturday using a jack hammer. They shouldnt of even of booked this room, also the room wasnt very clean found a used contact lense on floor didnt look like floor had been vacuumed, not a very relaxing vacation with all the noise from construction, will not stay here again

Relaxing

Had the best stay. The view off our balcony to watch the sunset was amazing. We loved the short distance to the beach and to shops/restaurants too.

Not our romantic getaway

The staff was nice enough, even though we were double charged, but they fixed it. We were in the larger shared building in the beach. The shared hallway was not ideal, every time someone opened/ closed a door, went through the hall way or spoke in the hall, we woke up. Typically like to have a door or window open to listen to the ocean, this was not ideal here due to construction plastic next door that whipped in the wind. Location is nice with easy access to the prom and swings but the foot traffic and noise was not ideal.
