Appart'City Marseille Euromed

I found this hotel thinking it was a great deal for a few nights in marseille. Based on the pictures, the hotel appeared to be a nice and cozy stay in a fully furnished studio. Little did I know that I would be checking into a semi renovated room in a creepy building. The check in process was a complete mess as the staff did not have any rooms available when I showed up. The utensils and plates in the kitchen area were not well cleaned. The bathroom sink was faulty and the water could not go down fast which caused a bad odor. The air condition vents did not work properly so regardless of whether you put on the heater or cold air, nothing changed. The room just remained stuffy. I stayed for a total of 5 nights and no one ever entered the room to clean. On the 3rd day I went to go ask and was told that they only clean the room once every 7 days so I'm not qualified to have my room cleaned. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. No only that but I was also told that they would have to charge me if I need more clean towels. Again, I stayed for 5 nights and only 2 towels were provided. The breakfast was also a dissapointment. The supposed "scrambled eggs" was just yellow pudding. I first thought it was a mistake but it was the same thing put out every morning. Overall, I am highly disappointed in this stay and I regret ever choosing this hotel. What was advertised was very different from reality.

I have taken photos of the property. I would be happy to share with you. I had booked for 5 nights and stayed a total 1 night. I checked into a different apartment. This was not a good experience.

We loved our stay close to every transport it was great to cook what we wanted

Room was cheap, but old and unclean. Nothing in the neighborhood except construction sites. It is safer if you drive instead of walk to metro. Private car park is secured.

It was a really bad experience. The rooms does not match the reality at all. The hallway, the room and even the cafeteria were really dirty. There was a lot of dust; swabs on the floor; spiders; spider webs; the curtain was falling off and was really dirty; there was hair and old soap from previous customers on the shower; to have a shower we had to hold it while showering because it was broken; we were in two people and there was only one towel, ripped; the toilet was dirty; there wasn’t hygienic paper and we had to buy it; we asked for one more towel, hygienic paper and extra pillows and they said they didn’t have; the breakfast was also bad, in a dirty cafeteria with products that didn’t look fresh.

The property is renovated new , the room was spacious and clean and for the breakfast the hotel offers a wide selection of food. The only downside is the location, however the city centre is only at 10 min ride with a bus or tram.

This hotel was located in a bad part of town. The exterior is unattractive, and the interior is worse. There is little good I can say about the room. The microwave was broken, there was just one bath towel and one roll of toilet paper, the bath gel dispenser was empty, and the bathroom wastepaper can had not been emptied. In short, the housekeeper did a lousy job, if indeed he was there at all. We mentioned the wastepaper can problem to the desk clerk, but nothing was done about it then or later. (No housekeeping was done the next day.) On the positive side, the desk clerks were relatively helpful and the breakfast (extra charge) was above average. Still, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is okay. Convenient to our business locations. But the room they gave us, as soon as we entered, had a terrible smell. We were exhausted from long day of work and driving, and we thought maybe we don’t want to go all the way back to reception to change the room, but the smell was gross, so we went back. The next room, was fine, until we used the bathroom. Cockroaches!!!. I took a video as well as pictures. Shut the door right and put towels against it so the cockroaches couldn’t come through to the bedroom. (But they are probably in the whole building if they are in one room). I am just hoping our luggage is not infested when we get back home with any larvae. We were tooo exhausted at this point. It was around midnight. We reported it to the front desk at check out the next morning. Showed the receptionist the picture and video. We had to leave for our meeting. She said she would make a note of it, and get it fixed. Not a good experience for hotel guests
