Hotel Casa Virreyes

I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff and the ease in which we were able to book tours that picked us up directly from the hotel. The hotel was clean and their complimentary breakfast was fantastic! They had freshly squeezed juices, fruit and pan dulce. The location could not have been better - right in front of the basilica and the main plaza. A couple of things to note: this hotel does not have an elevator and we were located on the third floor, so that was an issue for my mother who was recently operated. However, the staff was able to relocate us to the second floor. They also do not have parking at this hotel, complimentary parking is located 10-15 min away at another hotel. This wasn't terrible as driving around Guanajuato is quite a challenge so maybe sticking to walking/taxis is best. All in all, this hotel was great and would definitely recommend!

Room was bigger than most hotels. It was within very short walking distance to main attractions. I loved it! It was honestly better than I thought.

I liked the cleanliness of the place along wt the up to date modernist style yet reservation of it original structure. Staff was super friendly. I didn't like that i searched for a room that sleeps 4 and i got a very compact room wt 2 full size beds that seemed like they had been swapped for twins. And i also didnt like i was only offered one key considering we were 4. Besides that minor preference indifference, the location was ideal and the price wasn't to high

This place was difficult to find and the hotel never answered the phone for us to get help. The rooms were extremely uncomfortable and had no window or air conditioner.

Huge staircases. I had to leave. No elevator. I have disability. I had no idea.they did not help to find another place to stay.people on street more helpful.

El lugar es muy bello y tiene una excelente ubicación, se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad muy cercano a todo. Solo consideren que están frente a una iglesia, por lo que serán despertados por campanadas a las 8 de la manana. La atención del personal 100 puntos!... El único punto negativo es que nos vendieron una excursión la cual asumimos era con todo incluido cuando en realidad solo estabas pagando por el viaje y no a los museos una vez llegabas a los museos debías pagar tu entrada. Pero de todas formas la empresa que te llevaba muy profesional e informativa. Excelente conductor y guía turístico.
