The stay and location is awesome off the beach. The only false was the balcony is very small

Very pleased guest

This is our go to place while in Santa Marta. Private beach with shade tents, great service, clean rooms, good food. Right next door there is a Spa where you can get a really cheap massage, pedicure, etc. (US). Highly recommend.

Would not stay there again

The pro of the hotel is that is beach front and nearby restaurants. However, the beach front is very crowded without any hotel service and the neighboorhod is also busy with lots of constructions. Hotel is overpriced and old, for almost the same price you have a much better hotel in praia dormida where the beach is much better and the hotel 10x better

Older hotel but very clean and kept up not nicely. Wish the balcony were bigger; too narrow to sit down out there and enjoy the view, you can only stand

The staff was excellent but the room was very outdated. What we paid for the room with ocean view with a balcony was misleading as the photos of the room were beautiful but what we actually got was not....the room was very run down with broken dresser drawers that smelled musty, the mattresses were hard as rock and the balcony was so small that you could barely stand on it. Not what we paid for!

The security of this hotel is terrible... I was robbed u$900,- some one entered my room and opened the safe locker where i had my purse with cash safely secured..at least that is what i thought...they took out this 900 u$and closed my purse..closed the locker door again..perfect crime... I paid for some kind of insurance..but that was a joke...they only are willing to take a Case serious when there is evidence of Clear damage ...stupid..their safe lockers are of the super old types you can open with a normaL key.. Also very strange was that when I entered the room the safety locker was closed and i had to ask assisance to have it opened up... Some lady came in with a key and opened the locker in 3 seconds...do we have any guarantee that there is no spare key in hands of some criminal working in this hotel??? The investigation lead to nowhere... My advise to all visitors...please stay away From.these safety lockers...they will rob you..inside jobs I think.. Do not travel with cash or jewelry to this hotel!!!! I am.advised to take my case to the ministry Of tourism to have some kind of justice done...I am considering that right now..

El servicio en el front desk es terrible...en la playa tienen solo 6 carpas y tiene uno que levantarse a las 6 a reservarlas..es terrible no vuelvo!!

The property was pretty. The location was extremely tourist but i guess thats to be expected. We had a water line to the toilet break, but they repaired it fairly quickly. There were nice beaches and a pool with jacuzzis but i really didnt use much. The need to make reservations to use the facilities was a pain. I dont like to plan every moment of my day when im trying to relax. The one morning we spent in the beach we were absolutely drowning in people trying to sell us things. Like to say every 2- 5 minutes someone was bothering us. Often they would be extremely persistent. A nice resort with a good staff, but not so great for me.
