The staff were outstanding at reception. So friendly and welcoming. The staff at the breakfast seemed a little stiff though.

This is a great hotel choice. Unfortunately a great deal of maintenance and repairs were taking place at the time of visit and it wasn’t looking well or well covered. Staff service is good but for this hotel should be better. Location is very good.

Perfect Couples Retreat

Everything at Upper House is of such a high standard. Online chat support at the hotel helped to prebook parking within minutes, and the people at the spa who helped us were Service all over was over the top, spa facilities to die for, and the breakfast was second to none in Gothenburg.

Great Hotel

Excellent hotel in a good location. Access to the spa is included with the room. Additionally there is a separate well stocked gym for Upper House guests. A great place to stay in a good location.

Great choice for a comfortable stay in Gothenburg

Our deluxe room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, staff were invariably friendly and helpful and the views great. Although we were originally dubious about staying away from the city centre, the Upper House location in Gothia Towers is actually very convenient for accessing this spread-out city, with a tram hub just a few minutes walk away. As well as a variety of good restaurants in Gothia Towers (including the excellent "Upper House" itself) there are also many excellent restaurants (including Michelin starred ones) within a 10 to 15 minute walk.

Everything is difficult in this property as they don’t have the people to handle a hotel in the upper part of a tower. No valet parking when you arrive. No help with the luggage. Small room. Communication didn’t work. Shower gets the bath flooded. Not a good location if not going to a conference in the tower. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. In any case a 5 star hotel.

I was attending ESHG and found this hotel to be very convenient as the conference venue was physically attached to the property. Amazing experience! I wish I could have stayed longer. The spa is incredible especially the "hanging" pool. Staff at Upper was amazing; definitely exceeded my expectations! The room I was staying in had a gorgeous view of Liseburg amusement park. It was quiet, very clean, contemporary...I could list everything but you really have to experience it for yourself.
