Centrally placed, intriguing 17th century house, quiet street, warm; breakfast a bit cramped on Sunday. Very enjoyable Lift tiny so not for the obese

Stayed for 5 days. Basic hotel in a great location. Close to cafes, restaurants and sites. Walkable to Notre Dame and the Louvre. Will stay again. Great service and nice breakfast.

This is a historic gem, Full of character. The staff was friendly, accommodating and dealt with any issues quickly and efficiently.

This was the sixth time I’ve stayed at the Hotel du Lys, and it is truly an exceptional experience. The staff is helpful and personable. The location could not be better: a block from the St. Michel metro and RER stops, across the street from Notre Dame Cathedral, and a few blocks walk from The Louvre and Tuileries gardens.

Great location and pleasant room for the price. Fixtures are a bit tired but it is a lovely quirky old building. The breakfast was simple but a welcome offering.

People were very unfriendly. The room had 1 plug. The carpet was very dirty the same as the stairs to the room. Never stayed in a place like this before. The location was very good.

I LOVED this little hotel. It is quirky and charming, and the manager was super-nice and helpful. If you are looking for a conventional, modern, chain-style hotel or a luxury property, look elsewhere. If you are drawn to a place with a sense of history and a unique vibe, this is the place for you. Seriously good oil paintings and antique mirrors adorn the walls in the common areas and winding stairwell; vintage wallpaper made my room feel like I was entering another era; and the floor-to-ceiling windows brought sunshine into my room. Furnishing in the rooms is basic but comfortable. The continental breakfast (included in room rates) is simple and delicious: a croissant, fresh baguette and jam, coffee, and orange juice. My room, at the tip-top of the building, was quiet, and accessible via a tiny elevator. It also had air conditioning. The location is absolutely perfect, close to so many cafes, museums, shops, and galleries, and within a short walk to metros and the RER (with easy access to Orly airport). I stayed at this hotel for a week and will definitely return.
