The Sakala Resort Bali

I stayed for 2 nights in The Sakala Resort Bali-All Suites. I arrived late, almost midnight but still was warmly welcomed by the staff. I was lucky to be chosen as the guest of the day, as they upgraded my room to a deluxe suite and the duty manager showed my suite. The room was beautiful and spacious, bed is very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is nice, many food selection. Front desk and concierge are very accommodating as always. Ms Maggie is amazing, she made sure that everything’s alright during my stay. Ms Mila also gave me a call to check how was my stay so far. Was granted the latest check out of 2pm as my flight will be leaving on the night. While waiting and before leaving for my flight, they arranged an Afternoon Tea and Coffee Experience for me at The Sakala Beach Club, food and service was great. The massage at Wellness Spa is also good and relaxing. As i am also working in customer service industry, i am impressed with their service and hospitality. Everything else was excellent! Will definitely recommend this resort. Thank you so much, Sakala Resort Bali! It was a wonderful weekend spent in Bali.

We thought we were booking a hotel in the Noosa Dua gated area not down a side street not far from gated area. Hotel was devided by a road hidden in photos. Many facilities were turned off due to low patronage (saving money) eg spas;water falls; air conditioning in Gym; Gym equipment was faulty.Coffee, milk,knife, plates had to be requested and not replaced unless you asked.

We spent amazing vacation week in this hotel, staff were very friendly, good foods with reasonable price. But the hotel is far away from attraction places, normally we take about 2-3 hours to reached visited place.

Suite was huge. Plenty of room. Loved that it had a dining room table.

Our family stayed at two bedrooms suite and another deluxe room. We left for snorkeling trip 6 am and back to the room at 3:30 pm. They have not clean the room at all. In stead of apologizing, they said that it is my mistake because we did not put the clean up room light. But my sister in deluxe room did not put the light on either why they have cleaned it?? At night we could not take shower because no water around 9 pm. We have been waiting for one hour still no water. But we’re too tired. Then the next morning. Long queue for breakfast but in fact the problem is they do not have enough people to clear the tables and not able to clean up in time. I finally did not even get my cup of tea because the cup and the glass kept running out. I felt really awful and not enjoy staying here at all. The travel desk is very helpful. The beach club people are nice. The rest not really ok.

Hotel room - we had booked for twin beds with one extra bed. When we arrived hotel at almost midnight, staff told me their rooms were sold out and can only offer us 'double bed'. This is ridiculous as two boys don't want to 'one share bed'. They said I have not stated in my booking but I clearly remembered I did. They said again this is hotel's discretion. Ridiculous again. We stayed for 3 nights and last night have 'NO hot water'. Hotel didn't give clients any warning, not even a pc of paper to slip under bedroom.
