Out of the way service accomodating my wife who is pregnant. Got her extra toast for her morning sickness and modified her menu for our tasting dinners.

Cicada lodge is a wonderful place. The staff were all so friendly and helpful (especially Cameron!). The food was fresh and delicious. Our room was so peaceful and beautifully furnished. We loved our time at cicada lodge! Didn’t want to leave!

Great location on rim og river with native plants outlook of bedroom. Excellent service and great complimentary canapes and drinks in evening Pool was a little small but nearby pool at caravan park excellent. Evening meal was expensive an d need more options, but cheaper option is available at caravan park and is very good .

The rooms had a fantastic review. Service was incredible they were keen to help no matter what questions were asked. Tours were booked and recommended.

the location was great, very clean & well maintained. i have lots of allergies so remote travels sometimes can be difficult but the chefs accommodated me really well and exceeded all expectations! the food at this place is fantastic, can easily compete with some of the best Melbourne Crown Casino restaurants! one thing that was quite annoying is that we were not allowed to smoke on the balcony, yet the room had an ashtray. i understand not everyone likes the smell of smoke but i have never stayed at a hotel where you are required to walk to a pool side to have a cigarette when your room has a balcony (and we are very seasoned travelers with some of the world's best resorts in our experience). overall it was a great experience and the best place to stay around the area.

The Lodge was truly luxury in the outback. The staff were super friendly & helpful. The pool was 24/7 access, the rooms spacious & very comfortable with lots of facilities like coffee machine, lovely teas. Bathroom was spacious also & each room was private with a private balcony. Breakfast & canapés were superb. The price is a bit too costly I feel which resulted in us only being able to stay a max 2 nights. I was shocked to find a beautiful caravan park directly opposite the Lodge which made it less exclusive then I originally thought it was.
