The hotel is out of the way from major cities, but it is worth the detour. Spent the night on our way to SDR from MAD (2 adults, 2 kids). Extremely clean. Very friendly, attentive, staff. Good food..

Cleaning lady needs an eye exam and I left dirty

Weird. The reviews were pretty good, but the place is odd. I think it is set up for bus tours, not independent travelers. First, positives: spacious halls, spacious room, comfy bed, adequate free breakfast, very quiet, staff very nice Negs: First, it's not really near anything. Which was fine for us as we were passing through so needed convenient location over neighborhood. But still, it backs up to an industrial park and really nothing else around it. Second, not the same beds as the Hotels.com listing. We were missing a twin bed, but it worked for us. Next, I think the cleaning lady needs her eyes checked. The deep clean was good, but the surface clean was bad. For the most part it was fine, but there were long, black hairs on the toiletry basket in the bathroom. So, the maid had to check the basket to see that it was full (and it was), yet there were these 12" hairs across and in it. I don't know how she missed them. There were also hairs on the bidet (um, ick?), under the "Sanitized For You" paper. And a short and curly hair on a pillow case. Yes. A short and curly. The restaurant was charging 30 Euro for dinner that should have been 15 by the look of the menu. And town was shut down. So if you get there and want to eat, plan ahead. The water was weird - it keep blowing air. Plus, the shower periodically ran brown water while I was in there. I was pretty happy to get to our next place to get a clean shower. We wouldn't stay here again.

Overnight in Esquivias.

We were travelling back to Santander and we stay at this hotel regularly. A nice surprise when we arrived as we were upgraded to a suite. The hotel was very busy Saturday night, but the staff looked after us and the food was great, quite large potions, great steaks and salads.

Spain city break

We enjoyed our stay, a bit far from the city, but we knew its location before booking, it is a clean and comfortable hotel, few little patches of mould on bathroom ceilling on top of the shower. All in all we’ve been happy with our stay, good breakfast options, we would choose to stay again, good value.

Our stay at hotel hildago

We stay at this hotel 4 times a year. The hotel is used by the local community and has plenty of parking. The restaurant and cafeteria is always very busy and noisy, the atmosphere is amazing. Staff are very friendly and service is fast and efficient. however the bedrooms are quiet and the sound doesn't carry. For some unknown reason this time we were upgraded to a suite.

Good hotel with very helpful staff

Clean hotel with great staff. Since it's a 4 star, I was expecting to have a kettle with hot drinks in the room. Also breakfast was bit basic for a 4 star.

Spanish family, lively hotel.

We've stayed here 4 times a year for the past 5 years. It's our favourite hotel when travelling between Santander and the costa Blanca. The hotel is full of locals, police, workman, families. It is not quiet, but it has atmosphere, good food, comfortable rooms, lovely staff, and good value for money. Excellent parking facilities.
