Motel 6 Ventura, CA - Beach

Motel 6's "High Speed Internet" is anything but – 5 Mbps! My iPhone's "Personal Hotspot" is FAR SUPERIOR, to their "High Speed Internet" – 20 Mbps! Someone needs to tell them, that "we're no longer using 'dial-up'!" That's how "bad", that their internet service really is – unfortunately! (For Example: 3 Years Ago, you could download 4.7GB of data, on a "High Speed Internet", in under 60 minutes… Today, it would take MORE THAN 10 TIMES AS LONG, at a Motel 6 – and that's without the purchase, of their "High Speed Internet"; with the purchase, of Motel 6's "High Speed Internet", it'll take about 6 to 8 Hours! Their Internet Service needs a SERIOUS UPDATE – for it is LONG OVERDUE!

It was okay. Motel 6 can be hit or miss, but it was affordable.

Rooms clean and compact ie small. No fridge or micro. Other hooks for coat hangers. No drawers.

Worst experience ever. Gnats in our room. Won't give a refund. We ended up leaving at 3am to drive back to San Diego. Rude manager and terrible security. Will NEVER stay there again and neither should you. ZERO 🌟

showing a but of wear and tear. no towels replaced or trash pickup in 4 days.

OK but with the pandemic, no daily cleaning. I think this is a lame excuse. Can’t use the pool either.

My stay at this motel 6 was terrible. I payed 100$ for the room with 2 beds and there was only 1 towel in it. When i asked for another towel they refused to give me one from another room and said that i would have to wait until 9 am when house keeping got there even though the other guest who was with me and I had a meeting to attend at 8 and needed to shower.

Room was smoked in. Guests booked directly above and beside us...with all the rooms why not spread people out for noise/covid concerns. Partiers, smoking right outside our door, loud noises, overall only got one night sleep. Will definitely NOT stay here again!

The room itself was "OK" at best. Small room with pretty much nothing in it. It was generally clean, but about as clean as if you asked your moody teenage son to clean the house before you got home. The room reeked of cigarettes when I entered and lingered throughout the night. The worst part was that I constantly had to kill ants. I could barely eat the dinner I bought without having to kill ants. There was nothing to block the cold air coming in from under the door, so the entire night was very chilly from the ocean breeze coming through. Aside from all that: the sheets were clean (I hope) and didn't stink. The bed was decent but felt really small for some reason.

Many homeless around amd there may be drug dealing in one of the rooms.
