The photos online are deceiving it looked like that maybe in the 80's .We drove 6 hrs to stay here paid almost 400 for 2 nights on the property facing the ocean ( that was the best ) first day refrigerator still had old food in it from previous attendant . Roach grawling on dresser yukkk, carpet had lots of stains but the worst was the pool we tried to just cool off Saturday afternoon but couldn't even use this pool it was the worst i ever say it hasnt been maintained in a long time , dirt on the bottom , looks like filteration system not working , it was cloudy and you could literally catch a disease in it , horrible horrible, i should get a discount 400 is alot of money for a dump , never again will i stay there please keep your hard earned money and stay away from this hotel

Needs some remodeling

Definitely an older property with a great location. Had a gorgeous sunset view. However, the bed was not very comfortable, the overall condition was average and neighbors had to be quieted down after 11pm.

A few more towels would have been nice. Ceiling condition a little iffy. Beautiful location.

Great location. Terrible bed

Staff was great.. old Florida style hotel.. clean with great views... the beds are horrible.. hard cheep mattresses.. we enjoyed our stay BUT.. due to the mattress we would not return

This is a very old motel on the water so don’t expect fancy and upscale. However, it had everything you need; the staff is friendly; and the sunsets are awesome and right outside your door it is just stunning! My only complaint, because I also had work to do, was that the Wi-Fi would not allow me to use zoom and sending emails was sporadic. I had to travel off the island to use my phone for service.

Off the beaten track.

I got a very good night's sleep on a comfortable bed. By that measure our stay was success. A very nice pool with an elevated pool deck also enhanced the stay. This hotel may have the overall best view of the Gulf and the local Islands of any hotel in the area. It may be a bit ramshackle, and the poor lady running things may be overworked and unable to spend much time telling you about the area, but it is not a bad place to spend the night.

Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. This an aged hotel with a great view. Would definitely stay here again.
