Motel 6 Midvale, UT - Salt Lake City South

Checking in was a nightmare. You couldn't hear anything being said. Then I had to go get my wife's ID for some reason or she could not stay. The floor of our room was filthy like it never got swept. There were stains on the bedding. Our room constantly smelled like weed and smoke , coming from some other room. House keeping never came to do any cleaning. The beds hurt our backs and we could not wait to leave. We got approached by homeless people like everytime we left our room. The keys deactivated after our first day. The walkways were covered in snow which made our floors turn to mud.

I have stayed here before because of convenience and price. Overall my stay was good, except the problem with noise from other customers. The 2 nights I stayed this time I woken by people yelling or banging doors or other loud sounds. i don't know how the staff could control this, but is was a frustration.

Very unclean.

The staff is always friendly and inviting. They will accommodate each customer to the best of their abilities and have always provided me with top notch customer service. However, if someone gets out of line they will promptly put away their smiles and give the ole heave hoe.

Best to pay more and stay somewhere else. The area looks unsafe; lots of questionable people. There are small grassy areas to take your pets out to. I am sure many people were there as we were for their pet policy-which is great. The room was clean but the sheets not so much so. We won’t be back.

Good say I slept. If you had breakfast close by
