Motel 6 Colchester, VT - Burlington

Staff was extremely kind and welcoming, but the cleanliness of the room was mediocre.

Room 220. Constantly smelled like an ash tray.

Room was clean and bright.

Was not impressed with the lack of amenities and cleanliness of the hotel overall- the room itself wasn't bad but hallways and stairwells were not impressive.

So I haven't stayed at a Motel 6 in years. I forgot more of a no frills thing, no fridge or microwave. But actually it was cleaner and nicer though then the the last few Hotels (major brands) I stayed at last week and the last 2 months. So not a big deal on the frills. Much prefer the cleanliness.

The rooms were modern and nice. It’s was the atmosphere entering and getting to the room. That night someone who looked liked they lived their was belligerently drunk so cops were there to kick him out. Then smell of pot all down my hallway. They looked like teenagers. All in all it was the atmosphere that made it very uncomfortable, I went to a different hotel.

Arrived at night and no one was in the reception. None of the guests were wearing mask. The room was not cleaned the morning before. We woke up with someone shouting and screaming inside the building 3am. Also the place don't feel very clean and guests can stay with big dogs there.

I can deal with basically anything in a budget motel except for dirty sheets. Well, this one had gross stained sheets and pillow cases. Given the current state of the country, and the fact that the front desk person was very kind to let me check in at all during this crisis, I just shut my eyes and hoped for the best. It's on the lower end of quality in Motel 6s I've stayed at.

Overall ok, room is clean, location is very good.. staff is friendly
