The Frisco Inn

I enjoyed my stay and most other things at this hotel. However, the water from the rose and the very steep stairs were annoyed me a bit. There's a jug and a safe.

Arrived in Amsterdam on 24th April 2016 and it was raining with some hailstorms, causing the temperature to drastically drop to really low for almost the entire duration for our stay. Fortunately, we managed to book Firsco Inn that saves us a lot of trouble travelling as it is located near the main train station. We booked and stayed in a 20m2 deluxe twin bedroom which is real cosy especially in this cold weather. We expected the stairs leading up the rooms are quite steep due to my previous stay in Amsterdam. However, the first flight of stairs at the entrance is the steepest of all and will mostly likely cause a trip and fall accident if one is not careful.

This hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the Amsterdam Central train station, on the edge of the red light district and a few minutes walk from Dam square. The rooms are small but clean and the staff are really great and helpful. We ate breakfast here twice, the eggs benedict is particularly gorgeous. We felt safe around here at night and didn't use a taxi once while we were there. I would stay here again, it is a great little budget hotel and can't ask for a better location.
