We found the staff friendly and happy to have us as guest . Pros The shrimp and garlic ordered poolside was fresh and full of flavor . Beach access was excellent and the rooms clean . Con : Mattress in our room need replaced .

The food was excellent! The beach was nice. The rooms smelled a little musty.

Very disappointing. Room furnishings are dated. In need of room renovations. No hair dryer. No ironing board. No working safe box. Rooms only have the very basic things. No extra towels. No refrigerator. No ice buckets. No ice machines. Food was okay but drinks were very watered brown. The most disappointing thing about the hotel is that the do not refurnish some food items on the buffet tables. Once the food is finished, you are just out of luck..... For example, special Mexican diner on Saturday night from 7 to 11 o’clock. We arrived at 7:58 and some food items on the BUFFET were already gone.... and never replaced. This is an all inclusive hotel and this was the buffet restaurant !!! Furthermore, it was the last meal of the day and the only food available at the hotel the entire evening. When we asked the staff about the food items, they simply stated : Se acabo. No hay más.... It is finished. We do not have any more. This hotel is highly overpriced. For $140 dollars a night we were expecting a lot more. The buffets were extremely disappointing...... with a no care attitude by management... We will NEVER go back because of the food situation.

The beach and activities. We saw turtles leaving the beach to the ocean, very awesome experience.

I requested a room in the second floor and it took three times before they could get it right.

The hotel is very low quality. The rooms are dingy, the linens and pillows are old. There is very little food variety and the quality is not very good.

The staff was outstanding,and the food was good. Just needs to update rooms, and Hot water in the shower

This was a great place to relax and unwind. Very friendly service, excellent food and beautiful beach front. Pretty standard amenities, reasonable pricing. Not a lot of hotel activities besides the pool and beach...but our goal was to relax which this resort was perfect for! You do have to set up your own transportation to the hotel from the Merida airport since they do not offer shuttle services.

Because of the location, there are really just two options with all inclusive packages. the reason of my rating it's because I encountered a few problems with my stay, the remote control did not work, the fan in the room was not working, the light in the outside balcony was not working, and the safe box had no lock. It would have been nice to have body cream and conditioner in the bathroom, however, these toiletries are not included. Because of the time of year, the hotel had only a few guests, and the staff at times was absent, and areas of the hotel not open. There was only one waiter for the drinks at the pool, and the pool bar was closed and frequently the waiter absent. The food was ok, but no variety. there is only the buffet area restaurant, no other options at this location, except for the grill area, which was closed during our stay, except the day of departure, when buses full of people arrive to the property from the Carnival Cruise Ship that lands in progresso Beach. then all of the amenity areas are open and there is more staff. Other than that the stay was pleasant, facilities were clean, there are activities within the hotel to use.

Disco, shows, and night entertainment is excellent. Great good variety. Kids club, tennis and mini golf are very nice touches
