Hotel le Clos de Notre Dame

Our initial greeter was excellent. The next night and day we could not understand the greeters English. That was a bit difficult. The room was very small and there were some peeling sheet rock on the walls.

Our first impression was that the hotel was dim and gloomy. We were then shocked to find used beddings left in the staircase as we were entering our rooms. A few were given rooms with huge portraits which they found intimidating. But what was worst was that two room rates reported that there were bed-bugs in the room!!! On return to the hotel after about a week (since I had paid for the room previously), we requested a change of room or for the room to be sprayed by insecticide first. Both requests were denied - there were no other rooms available and no insecticide in the hotel. So we had no alternative but to move to another hotel - all at our own expenses.

Perfect location, a great lesson of French history, an amazing staff for a wonderful experience

I liked the location and the configuration of the hotel and room as well as the quality of bathroom.

The staff and service were excellent. Very friendly people and very accommodating. Unfortunately, a barely working TV (none of the English channels worked), a sink that never drained (had to be drained by staff every day), and an elevator that worked maybe 50% of the time resulted in a less than stellar stay.

The location is perfect! The staff excellent and helpful. The rooms are cozy, quiet, clean. Everything was great

Me and my friend had an amazing stay at Hotel Le Clos de Notre Dame. Small boutique hotel close to everything. The metro station is right across the street. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms are fairly small, but clean and welcoming. I would 100% stay here again, and recommend.

Not a lot of space and a tiny bathroom. If you wanted to use the sink you needed to keep the (sliding) door open. Whilst an excellent location, bijou and boutique, it was small and a little claustrophobically so. Never did get my welcome glass of champagne either
