Older but clean and comfortable. Convenient location.

Great hotel, rooms were clean and it was nice having the option of cooking if you wanted to. We would stay there again on future trips to the area.

I was a little upset when we checked in and found out on 2nd floor and you take a inside stairway to room. Thevhallway connected several rooms. The hotel was fine pool availability wasnt the same as on website so couldnt swim. Overall it was a little pricey for the room.

The place has a good location and was clean for our stay, but property manager likes to babysit guests. Corn hole and other games are prohibited to play by pool, no smoking by the pool, pool closes early at 6pm. There was no hot tub as advertised. Their billboard says FUN right on it, its a no fun zone though. Maybe its COVID...I dont know, but this place had some pretty odd & strict policies. We had a group of 6 so we were happy they accommodated us for 1 night. It was a safe place to sleep. Thats about it. Price was $360. 6.3/10

We have stayed at the Traverse Bay Inn many times over the years and we have never been disappointed! This family run Inn was on top of the cleanliness protocol for Covid-19; cleaning each day of our 2 day stay. They are pet friendly and always have a smile to share with everyone that walks through their doors!

This place was a nice place to stay. Not fancy but nice. Place for budget vacation where you can get groceries and cook there. I would recommend. Nice location.

First, Traverse City isn’t what it was. Traffic, construction and limits on people in stores and restaurants make it a place to avoid. If you’ve never been there, visit TC once to get it out of your system and then avoid it. Second, this hotel was average or below. The manager was rude and abrupt, the room was damp, smelled like cleaner and it was expensive...definitely not worth the price. Overall, St. Ignace and the UP are much better options.

It was nice having two bedrooms and a mini kitchen, I stayed here with my two kids, ages 10 and 12. The pool was very clean, they brought new towels daily but did not clean our room because of covid. The bathroom is small and the place is dated, but it's a motel and exactly what we expected. There is NO hot tub like in pictures. Comfortable beds and nice staff. Not luxury but a fun little getaway for me and the kids.

Cute little older hotel. It was very comfortable. The little kitchen area was great and unexpected. It’s a cozy and quiet little place.

Take down the picture of the hot tub! Booked expecting it, only to find when we arrived that it was removed 3 years ago! The inn and our unit was fine for the price, I just can’t imagine how that detail has been overlooked for so long.
