TownePlace Suites Jackson Ridgeland/Township at Colony Park

I enjoyed visiting with a friend by the fire pit. It overlooks a small lake. The two room suite was perfect for two couples. We requested a pack and play and it was setup in our room for our early check in.

Great family experience and in a great area and community with lots of shops and restaurants in the area! Will definitely stay here again!

It is a great place to stay with family. The location is great. It's a very safe part of town, I felt.

We were highly disappointed in our stay, we purposefully chose this hotel to accommodate my husband diabetes and due to the pandemic, we prepared to eat in and we expected the best due to the location and the price. 1. we were placed in a handicap accessible room (as a person who advocates for special needs, I would never occupy a room I'm not eligible for), we were told this was Hotel.com doing. 2. once moved, we found the leftover food in the refrigerator, in which we were offered one item from the pantry. 3. my husband is diabetic, so we chose to cook for ourselves instead of going out to eat, only to find the stove top didn't work and we had to go out and buy food from restaurants amid the pandemic, (this defeated the whole purpose for choosing this hotel) 4. we were told someone would come by to fix or "check-out" the stove top and they never did. 5. upon checking in there was a sign posted, "no breakfast served", when we booked this on Hotels.com, there was no mention of it, we counted on breakfast served and then cooking our lunch/dinner. 6. the hotel also informed us upon arrival there will be not housekeeping services. Wow.

I’ve stayed here several times. I’ve tried other hotels in the area but this one has a larger refrigerator and a cooktop so I’ve returned. The property is becoming run down and it seems to get a little worse every time. At check-in, I was given two important bits in info. 1: They don’t tell you until you check in that they are no longer serving breakfast due to the pandemic. That’s understandable given the circumstances but the website says breakfast is included. 2: They don’t leave an extra roll of toilet paper in the room anymore. Basically, whatever the last person left is what you get and if you need some, you have to go to the front desk and ask for it. I did that once and then I went out and bought some. The last thing you want to do is run out of TP and have to walk to the front desk! You would think they would just hand you a roll at check in but they don’t. Day 1: There was no hot water at the bathroom sink and it was clogged so it took a long time for it to drain. The microwave had not been cleaned in a while. Day 2: The lawnmower right by the window at 7:30am woke me up before my alarm. The hot started working at the bathroom sink. Pros: The people at the front desk are nice and the lobby area is very clean.

I loved the design of the room and the cleanliness. I didn’t like how long it took me to get checked in. I and two other customers waited for about 20 minutes while the desk clerk was on the phone doing a reservation. I think he should’ve served us first.

I like the property i just didn't know it was a totally pet, friendly hotel, that's my only drawback.
