Nice hotel, clean and friendly helpful staff. Not the most luxurious choice on the beach but great pricing and no issues here.

You truly get what you pay for. First the doors open out so anyone can take the pin out of the hinges and take the door off. The floors were so dirty that we kept our socks on all the time in the room. There was no iron or ironing board. Furniture was from the first wagon train that came out West. Blinds did not work, you had to operate them by hand. There were only 10 hangers in the closet. The bathroom was so small only one person at a time. The sink was falling off the wall. Actually falling off the wall. Toilet not elongated so very uncomfortable. Cheapest toilet paper you could find, took a whole roll to clean yourself. Could not run water from the faucet in the tub. Stayed there for a week and had to ask to have clean towels and sheets. And there were bugs in the room also. My advice, stay on the beach, it's much more comfortable than this place. The room was so depressing we stayed gone all day.

This property is steps away from the beach and boardwalk which is fabulous. The room was also very clean when we checked in. In fact, there was a slight bleach smell which gave us some assurance that the rooms are being disinfected between rentals. There is also a nice courtyard to sit outside the room if you want to eat take-out or visit outside the room. On the other hand, the room is absolutely "no frills" and although clean, has not been updated in decades. The woodwork, doors and walls have several coats of paint on them, and some really bad patchwork. The bathroom sink and tub/shower and faucets are very old, but functional. The toliet seat must be in the up position to close the bathroom door. This may be a deal breaker for some people. Again, I must stress that everything is very clean and the staff was very respondsive in bringing new towels to us during our 4 day stay. We did see cleaning people turning the units everyday.

The hotel is older and the best thing is that it’s a 90 seconds walk from the beach. Check-in was challenging as they had the office blocked off on all sides. I walked around 15 minutes trying to find a way in but finally ended up calling to see where the entrance was. Just know this going in to call when you arrive. I was told the room was open and key was hanging on hook. The room was fine and bed was comfy. 3rd day I told them there was a lightbulb out in one of the lamps and the caulking was breaking away from the bathroom sink. I also had to request housekeeping for the trash to be emptied and bed to be changed. Note: you will need to do this too. Overall it’s an older hotel and I was looking for budget friendly trip. It was a short walk to beach. If you don’t mind the other things then go for it.

Location to beach was perfect just a short walk also lots of shops close by didn’t have to drive anywhere

first room smelled like straight ashtray, got quickly accommodated to a different room that smelled a bit better

The room was horrible very dirty and old the bed had old mattress and we can’t sleep and worst of all the room smelled like it was used to smoke crack. Very bad experience I will never believe on the reviews.. never recommend it!
