Very nice & overpriced

Like everything in LA very nice and very overpriced. Clean, safe area, nice staff, but nothing special for the huge dollars I paid.

Strange room layout

Pros: next door to Tao (great restaurant); comfortable bed, clean. Cons: 1) Next door to Tao (noisy at night) 2) No privacy in room to change as it's one room with no separate bathroom door. 3) Toilet has a glass wall facing the bed with a sheer curtain covering, so you can still see the person on the toilet. 4) No place to hang wet washcloths and hand towels. Only one small hook on the door.

Exclusivity is just a Dream

Staff super nice as was my room. Nice coffee bar and cocktail bar staff. A few overriding negatives driving my overall evaluation: (1) The scene in the lobby at times was off the hook, starting when 4 20-something males stormed the lobby (mid afternoon) looking to "settle a score" with someone associated with hotel - temperatures were hot and I retreated to room. Phone video and security personnel were disturbingly on display. 2) There was no ability to charge meals, coffees or other purchases to room account....had to pay with cash or credit card. 3) Roof top pool packed with non-guests as was adjacent restaurant - no availability all day saturday as it was fully booked (mostly non-resident).....made us feel pretty second class. Had to go through lobby and take exterior elevator to roof even though guest elevator serviced the same 10th floor. Maybe a good way to drive pool patrons through the lobby? Great lobby for Influencers!! In short, the only place where we really felt welcome was in our tiny room....the nice, clean tiny room. Not the best Dream I've had.

Dream Hollywood a true dream

It was an absolutely amazing stay with the incredible service and hospitality. Alfred the mini bot for room service was even more exciting and wonderful. The complimentary car drives was the cherry on top. Dream Hollywood is a definitely the best hotel in Hollywood and the only one we will be staying at

Inconsistent

The majority of the staff was friendly. Although I did have an incident with the front desk not honoring a mistake they made. The front desk called me to notify me that they had accidentally checked me out and that they were going to waive my service fees (housekeeping was knocking on my door around 8am and they woke us up). I noticed during checkout that they had forgotten to remove the service fees, therefore I asked the front desk and they told me the would find out what happened and call me. I received a call from the front desk letting me know that they had made a mistake (wrong room) and were not going to honor what they had initially promised.

Boutique, friendly staff, very comfortable...

Staff was very friendly and service oriented. Property is within walking distance to a variety of food and social businesses. Roof top is very comfortable. Definitely a boutique feel to the facility.

Small rooms, balcony you can only stand on, tv is mounted on the side wall, so if you want to fall asleep watching tv it will hurt your neck. No coffee for room service, that’s a first.

Top tier service and experience

This is my go to LA hotel from now on. Service was top tier, decor and amenities were amazing. Cant beat location.
