Ok place to stay, but it aint no 'eco' lodge

Don't be fooled into thinking this is an actual ecolodge; the operator doen't even believe in climate change. It looks like he is just leasing the lodge until he can get some development deals going. Maintenance doesn't appear to be a high priority. The food is good, yet expensive. There were lots of birds and the pool and gardens were nice.

Owners offered outstanding service and help. The dining facilities are top notch at very affordable prices. The peacefulness and cleanliness of the villas are second to none. This place will not disappoint

Would be beautiful if only...

The location was good, and the managers were very pleasant and helpful. The room is in desperate need of an update! The bed was old, the linens were worn, no wifi, and the AC was very loud! The owners could easily update, and I'm not sure why they haven't. It wouldn't take much to make this place very comfortable!

So this was my second time around Natuga and I found that the management changed which is a great improvement. New owners and very warm and customer oriented, always attentive to your needs. As they are taking over the place of course there is room for improvement, like cleanliness and a few details here and there but I totally understand you are catching up on this and the investment is huge. Bottom line, you'll feel welcome, the location is great, close to many attractions, a peaceful place to relax.

old and dumpy facility. the furniture isn't comfortable and worn out. We definitely got overcharged. We paid too much.

Wonderful!

We absolutely loved Natuga Ecolodge! The location is great (as long as you have a car). You are right next to the entry to the Nauyaca waterfalls and only a 10-15 minute drive from the beach in Dominical. It is in the hills, so it is not quite as hot as Dominical. The woman who runs the hotel is incredibly nice and the service was wonderful. My only minor complaint is that the bed was a little on the hard side for my liking.
