The Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa

I had to make a call to Gold.Team at around midnight of our first night stay. the air conditioner in our room malfunctioned. The Front Desk closed at 7pm. The A/C was pumping out freezing cold air most of the night. Gold team tried to contact the management. left a message and then I heard nothing. I mentioned this to the management. The problem was resolved for the second night of our stay. I would have thought some offer of compensation would have been in order. I mentioned this first night problem again at check-out and the owner gave us a $19 bottle of Olive Oil as make-up! The rest of our stay was good. The service good. The breakfast likewise. Just a shame that our 10 year anniversary celebration had this problem spoiling one of our two nights!
