Deluxe Inn Fayetteville

We decided to stay here because the reviews were so high and the price was cheap compared to other places. We checked in at around 930pm after a long drive from Maryland to get some night rest and hit the road again early in the morning. Unbeknownst to us, the issues start piling up. First, the phone room phone didn't work and we had to run to the front desk everytime we had questions. Second, the AC was too loud but turning it off wasn't an option because it was cold outside. To make the matters worst, my wife started itching all over her left foot from weird bites. We were so tired and it was past midnight but that time. We didn't know what to do and started looking for leave the place but it was too late to make a new reservation for the night at a different place. All in all, we couldn't fall asleep until 4am because my wife and I were worried about the bug bites and it was a rough night. Our tired body gave in and we fell asleep at around 4am with the hope to get at least couple of hours sleep before hitting the road again. The check out was at 11. We overslept after the worst night, but we managed to wake up and check out at 1115. The owner lady started telling at us for checking out late and threatened to charge for another night without listening to what we have to say. I told her she can go ahead and charge us. It's not about the money but about customer service after all. All in all, this was the worst night. I hate being negative but this was needed to help others.

The room was neat and clean. Was surprised. Plus the attendant in the front desk was super pleasant. I'll be back in a day or two.

Basic cheap clean good

The room smelled really bad, tub had hair and was sticky and so was bathroom floor. I was too tired after driving 13+ hours to complain with front desk wish I did that night. They did have cleaning wipes in room which I utilized to reclean EVERYTHING! Told front desk in morning and basically called me a liar and abruptly assumed I wanted a refund but I didn’t I was just informing her of the situation in the room. She furthered informed me that she was the one inspecting the rooms (I didn’t care and it made me more angry) then she told me that she wanted to inspect the room before I left to make sure I didn’t make any damage! she so rude which made the whole experience even more upsetting!

I love it. It was quiet. It was very clean and nice in the room. I would recommend to someone who need a comfortable stay for a bit.

I'm being staying in a lot of hotels before but this one

This place was pathetic. I understand COVID precautions, but the lobby was closed and I was forced to stand outside in the cold and should through a thick glass window facing the parking lot. The speaker wasn't working so it was nearly impossible to communicate. After signing countless papers agreeing to an extensive list of charges if they found anything out of place, they charged my debit card $50 for incidentals. The room was as expected for a budget motel. At check out, once again, I stood in the cold, but before they refunded my incidentals deposit, the front desk clerk had to leave the window and personally inspect the room. Another humiliating 15 minute wait outside in the cold. In 50 years of traveling I have never had to wait for a room inspection before getting my deposit back. With the countless other options in this area, I can think of no reason for anyone to stay here.

We stayed at this well run motel on our way north for Thanksgiving and again on our way home a week later because it was twice as nice as any room we have stayed in for such a small price. All proper COVID precautions were in place including antibacterial soap instead of the standard little bars and a full container of cleaning wipes to clean anything we were concerned about. Plenty of parking outside our door to avoid crowded spaces and elevators. The owners were always on hand and watchful of their property making us feel safe. The room was nicely appointed and enjoyable.
