Golden Temple Residence

The staff was just amazing, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to Pub Street but just far enough from the agitation. The breakfast buffet is awesome with a great variety of choices. I could go on and on, you can't go wrong coming here and for the price, it's a steal!

This was my first stay at the Golden Temple Residence and it was great. The staff are super friendly and eager to please. The room was large and as with most SE Asian hotels, the bed was firm. They do offer softer pillows and beds for those who ask. The property is very clean and well kept. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide assortment of Western and Cambodian offerings, with the Cambodian ones changing daily. The pool is relatively small, with only about a dozen chairs. This wasn't an issue during our stay, but may be one when the hotel is full. The location is good, as it's a block from the night market and a block and a half from Pub Street. Overall an excellent stay. I would highly recommend the Golden Temple Residence.

Fake $50 USD Golden Temple Residence Siem Reap

We stayed at this hotel from February 5-8, 2020. All was fine until we settled our final bill. I paid balance owing using $100 USD note, On the sly, the front reception returned to us the balance amount in an envelope. It was not until the next day that we learned the $50 USD note returned was a FAKE, when we tried to make a payment at a restaurant. We have always trusted banks and hotels with currency exchanges, but this was the first time ever that we felt cheated by a hotel. While leaving the hotel, we had provided certain staff with excellent reviews because their service standard was terrific. The only blemish was this currency issue. Yesterday itself, I had texted the guest relations supervisor, Danin Tuon, about this situation. I am still waiting for a response or at least an acknowledgement. I have travelled to several countries in the past 5 years, and this is the first time I have experienced this situation.

This is a beautiful hotel and the staff are attentive and always helpful - they cant do enough for you. Rooms were exceptional - comfortable and clean. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Siem Reap and if we travel again to Siem Reap we will look to book a Golden Temple hotel

Outstanding hotel

Our stay was extremely comfortable. The staff were very caring and helpful. Service was superb. The restaurant seemed a bit understaffed and slow at times but very accommodating. They surprised us with balloons, towel swans, and rose petals in our room for two birthdays we had in our family. The restaurant even prepared a lovely layered cake for the birthdays and my son was delighted because it was his 10th birthday. The car driver who took us around to Angkor Wat was fantastic and very reasonably priced. I would certainly recommend hiring a car and driver through the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the Apsara dance was a treat. It got very loud for an hour at night due to the music but other than that, everything was perfect. The location of the hotel is very convenient since it is walking distance from the night market, pub street, and a lot of different restaurants.
