Great little hotel just outside the city

Great little hotel on peaceful outskirts of the city,..within 10 minutes walking distance you can reach the local subway station!..great service & breakfast!

Great stay in a very good location.

Great stay over 4 nights. Very friendly and helpful reception -- provided local directions to points of interest and even loaned us (free of charge) an electrical adapter to use my wife's curling iron with the Danish-spec outlet in the room. Amenities were good, not great. Beds had a very thin mattress but we slept reasonably well nonetheless. There were holes in the hallway carpet and a musty smell out there, but our room was just fine. Superb free breakfast and good, fast free WiFi. Great location for excursions into downtown Copenhagen and other destinations on Sjaelland (we had a rental car, and were delighted to have free parking in an adjacent lot).

Excellent transport to city, wonderful food & staf

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Very well run, clean and comfortable beds. Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Shops immediately outside with supermarket, some cafes and restaurants. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel however given the wonderful breakfasts they provided, I'm sure dinner would have been excellent. The train station to go into Copenhagen is 10 minutes walk away. Good parking available outside the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it to other travellers.

Excellent hotel. Easy to get a bus 5c to the city. Buffet Breafast really good with fresh fruits and high quality warm fresh breads and rolls appreciated. We are at the hotel restaurant and it was very good Danish cuisine. The room was quiet. No traffic noise whatsoever and no noise from other rooms. Hopefully be back in a year or two.

Very well kept hotel with friendly staff. The interior is subdued and perhaps a little dated, but very neat and comfortable! The breakfast buffet is delicious, and has a lot to offer. There are ironing stations on each floor, and there is a free tea and coffee station in a common area. The hotel is a bit outside of central Copenhagen, but with great connections at all hours, and because of the good quality of services we will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Herlov Kro Hotel was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had - no exaggeration. Our flight arrived 5 hours before normal check-in but the terrific staff had a room waiting for us nonetheless. Breakfast was elegant -and we got to meet many people on vacation from nearby Malmo. The hotel is NOT in city center but travel to and from Nyhaven and Waterfront on public transport was economic and easily accessible. IHighly recommend this slightly "off the path" jewel.
