Good family room

Upon check-in, front desk agent was friendly and informative on all business of the hotel and instructed where to park as it is a bit of a strange layout. Good for winter as rooms can be walked to through connecting hallway, including pool area without having to go outside. Cleanliness was good and everything worked correctly although the fridge was unplugged so it took a bit before it got cold. Otherwise, great stay for families with children and no concerns with traffic noise on busy street.

My room and fridge were too warm.

The staff was very wonderful. I only had two complaints. I double checked to make sure that I had a refrigerator in my room, as I travel with medicine that needs to be refrigerated. When I got there the refrigerator was unplugged and it took quite a while to cool off so I had to scramble and get ice to make sure that my medicine stay chilled. The second was that it was unseasonably warm and my room was warm and I could not get the air conditioning to turn on. When I called the front desk they told me that they turn off the air conditioners at the end of September and do not turn them back on. My only option was to open a window which didn’t really help since it was warm outside and there was no breeze. So my room was too warm and I couldn’t do anything about it. On a safety note, it’s good that you have to have your key to get into the building. But it’s a standard room key and it takes two hands to do it one to turn the key and want to pull the door open at the same time so if you were carrying luggage, it doesn’t make it very convenient. But that is just a picky thing on my part.

World stay again

The hotel isn't anything special but it's affordable, convenient, & clean. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The room was comfortable & clean. The grab & go breakfast was just ok. It made for a nice snack later in our trip. I would stay here again when I'm in town.

Excellent location, very clean. Would have been nice to use the sauna, but that was closed by Governor Whitmer.

Very Spacious Room

The rooms are very spacious, clean, the bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have recliners and rockers in the room to sit on when you weren’t wanting to lie in bed. The pool and hot tub were really nice and the service was great!

Check in girl was the rudest person I ever met - would not help with discrepancies. Had to spend an hour in the rain in the parking lot to fix the issue myself . Owner Lyn was very nice afterwards
