Star G Hotel Premium Dresden Altmarkt

We had a short stay of one night after arriving at the train station nearby. The hotel is in a great location - albeit not the closest one to the train station but it is right next to the long Main Street that has loads of shopping. Keep in mind that in Germany, lots of things are closed/close early on Sundays ;) It's also next to lots of dining options and Starbucks, McDonalds etc. We were able to walk to the main attractions - the cathedral etc. easily as well. Check-in was quick and our room was great! We had no issues with heating, the bed was comfy, wifi was good and there was a little fridge- which I know can be quite useful for some travelers ! Overall, I recommend a stay if you're looking for a nice location with a comfortable room!

The place was great. I came in from Berlin and accidentally got off at the first stop which made it confusing to get to the hotel. In the end it was one because I crossed the bridge at night and saw the city lit up beautifully.

Friendly staff, great location, clean & comfortable rooms and nice selection of breakfast items! We had a perfect stay and will be back for sure!

Awesome location in the middle of Altmarkt in walking distance to all sights, like the castle, Zwinger, and Frauenkirche. Very beautiful room, newly remodeled with brandnew bathroom.

Lovely room with very comfy bed and lovely amenities. Big windows wich open which I'm always happy about. I don't drink coffee, but for those who do, the Nespresso machine is a nice touch. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent - within walking distance from station and also within walking distance from main attractions. I always stay here when going to the Semperoper. Would thoroughly recommend.

The lobby was intriguing but it was totally inappropriate for a tired traveller of 72.

Staff was very friendly. Close to Historical buildings & restaurants. I was disappointed they did not have an iron or ironing board.

A very cute and minimalist inn located right above Altmarkt. Great location - close to many things and a beautiful building on the outside, with a modern and minimalist take on the inside. Room was great for one and had everything one needed. Included a complementary bottle of carbonated water for the guest, and front desk had jars of these cute and delicious mini gummy bears, which can be bought at the gallerie at the end of the block towards the mall! Fantastic views and very clean! I enjoyed my stay there and it was a great location in Dresden! :)

Location was excellent, trams rite outside the door. Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious lots of food options nice and close
