My week at Sea Princess

On a week's holiday with my disabled wife, disabled mother and brother in law Stopped in room 27, 26 and 25 The horrors Condition of hotel rooms were poor. Upstairs shower leaked into cramped and had done on numerous occasions as could be seen by state of ceiling. Shower had black mould around edge of tray and a broken screw at shoulder height sticking out of the wall. Toilet was loose on arrival and leaked initially - both fixed after complained. Mattress very lumpy and you could feel every spring. Paintwork fresh but hadn't cleaned up any runs or spills where they had caught fittings. Furniture very cheap and por quality. No matress protector or pillow protector in use. Door handle loose. No spare keys and Yale lock fitted so if you forgot key staff had to climb through window or break door down. No sanitizer on exit from toilet area and restaurant one broke. No seat in cramped bedroom. Bedroom not serviced unless requested then bedding not changed Good points Staff very friendly and efficient. White bedding and white towels were very clean. When requested for more tea and coffee this was provided. Wife diabetic and requested for medicine to be stored in fridge was done without hesitation as was freezing of iceblock for cool bag to keep medicine chilled on return journey. Food very nice, well stocked and tidy bar. Toilets acceptable but gents only had a comunual towel to dry hands. Large spacious bar area and restaurant. Outside area decked and plenty clean furniture.

My stay was good, breakfasts very nice and good service, room was good though bathroom and shower needs attention, staff very friendly.

A work in progress!

Had great 5 nights.Hotel appears to be a work in progress.Communal areas are clean and spacious.Bedroom and ensuite could do with update of flooring,otherwise comfortable.Breakfast was included,full english..and could not be faulted at all.Staff were extremely polite,courteous and helpful.Nothing,was too much for them,especially a lady called Carolina(hope ive spelled it correctly)who made our stay,a home from home.A definite thumbs up!

Crappy sea princess

On arrival the man behind the perspect desk was extremely rude. “Just because you’ve requested a sea view room don’t mean you’re getting one” was the quote on arrival. Although booked 4 months in advance was sent to the top of building to a box room which reeked of paint and had spillages of paint all over the floor. I complained as my wife has asthma he reluctantly gave us another room. Ok we agreed we’d crack on with that. At 5:40 the next morning was woken to our tv blaring at volume no.84 as though the alarm had been set. Went to breakfast at 8:30 very basic and staff look terrified of making a mistake. Went up to catch up on some well needed sleep but was awoken to water dripping on my head. I woke my wife up who then needed the loo, once she flushed it the flush then flew out the back of the toilet. I went down to complain to which the man said what do you expect me to do? It’s not my problem!!!!! An argument ensued then he told me to leave his “hotel” and I won’t be getting money back. I rang the police and he refunded me for the next night. DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL BE LET DIWN AND MASSIVELY RIPPED OFF!!!!! It is worn down and if you want a decent stay in Yarmouth give the SEA PRINCESS a wide birth. James

Enjoyed our stay at the sea princess hotel, for price we paid with free parking n breakfast couldnt go wrong.. staff was very friendly, bedroom looks recently decorated was happy with room, would stay again

Had to be moved from initial room due to water coming through the ceiling! At 1pm someone who had booked a room was banging on the door and shouting waking up the entire hotel. Hotel is old and has had a renovation attempt but to a very poor standard, just a lick of paint and tacky cheap decoration. My first room looked reasonably nicely decorated, second room (after being moved) was cramped and very poorly finished with furniture that looked like it had been taken from a skip! I wasn't expecting The Ritz, especially at the reduced rate I paid as a front-line worker during lock down but I at least expected a dry room and to be able to get some sleep!

Winter Stay

Went for an Xmas /anniversary break . So was very quiet generally in hotel + town for it being out of season but, Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Helped with finding things to do and was lovely to chat to.very pleasant people. Breakfast was lovely, cold and hot food +drinks available. Bedroom was fantastic! We loved our room, the decor, the balcony, the view, the bed was amazing. Would go again!

Room 6

The lock on the door was not secure and didnt have a snack on the yale lock so anyone with a key that fitted the lock could of enterd while we were sleeping... The floor was very uneven and possible holes in the floor,very loose floor boards... some of the wallpaper was coming away from the wall... the windows were dirty on the inside.... The drinking glasses provided had not been cleaned properly (all dirty smears all over them) tiles in the shower were cracked... The shower head leaked water down the pipeline we had to place a towel on the floor to soak up the water ... The waste bin hadnt been emptied in the bathroom before we got there... Bathroom door handle loose untill i screwed it back on..... The staff were very curious and pleasent though
