Station Hotel Aberdeen

Great location

Service was great, room clean, staff were great and friendly. Hotels has obviously been very grand at one time (which it still is in many regards), but I think it could go with a cash injection for refurb in the older of the hotel. I’ve stayed her twice last week and look forward to my next trip. All ppe rules were followed.

Overall great plave to stay,very comfortable and good service and staff was very welcoming and helpful when asked questions,the only thing i found to be a a problem was the shower head did no work properly (have reported to reception)so with it not working properly it was rynnung down the hose to which alot of grimmy dirt was coming off,easily sorted wirh a spray and cloth but it was thick and green,but most definitely will stay again its very central and close to the boat terminal,bus and train overall lovely stay 👍

The room was great, recently renovated I presume. Clean, modern. The food was fairly expensive for what it was, although I had no major issues I don’t think it represents value for money. The rooms and location are value for money. I didn’t know about the free parking until I arrived at the property - delighted.

It was fine,given the circumstances we are in.

I have stayed at this Hotel before because it is very nice and in a central location. Our stay this week was the first time Hotels were open after relaxing of Covid-19 lockdown. I stayed one night with my husband and son. The room was quite old and the toilet and shower made a lot of noise. There was a small fridge but It only had one bottle of water in it (usually there is one for each guest), I had paid extra for breakfast not realising that we would not be able to be served in the restaurant (it was open for other meals), and there would be paper bags left at our door after 7am in the morning! Checkout is 11am. It was after 0930 and no bags so I had to phone reception. Got a knock on the door not long after, but only 2 bags were there. I phoned reception again to get another bag brought up. Very disappointing, there was a couple of packaged pastries, small kids size boxed orange juice, breakfast bar, green apple and a yogurt (only had 2 with yogurt as they ran out). I paid about £15 extra for this!! No one even bothered to ask how our stay was when we checked out! I may not stay there again.

Had a large tear in the quilt cover but apart from that it was only a bed for 1 nite before going offshore the next day and there was nowhere else left as all the major hotels had no rooms

Loved the room. Nice and spacious , very clean as were the public areas. Check quick and easy. Breakfast nice and hot with reasonable choice. Bad thing was fire alarm went off at 1.30am due to drunk guests breaking one of the points. Everyone went down to entrance to be told it was a false alarm. About an hour later it went off again . In the morning we were told this was because the night porter was trying to reset it and it failed. Only slept for 3 and a half hours according to my fitbit . This meant i was extremely tired the whole of the next day.RReception told me thst they do often get drunk guests returning after midnight causing noise and problems.

Excellent staff and food. If visiting Aberdeen I would recommend having High Tea at the Station Hotel. Fantastic food and service for a great price. 👍. Only down side, rooms were too hot.
