Great location, with the Yeosu expo and the Big-O only a few minutes walk away! They have a great lounge area as well and I didn’t feel like breakfast was too crowded, which sometimes happens at hostels. I met two wonderful girls and we went around the town together, it was such a great experience of a far corner of the country that I was hesitant to explore. Thanks for making it possible backpackers! :)

Best guesthouse I stayed.

Having trouble to get to the guesthouse as their no train available in Yeosu but it walkable from Yeosu-Expo (about 15 min walk). It's not hard to find as the guesthouse is so well decorated and they even have a bar right opp them (you get a discount if you are staying in the guesthouse).

Close to Hero Street

I loved the stay, about 10 to 15 minute walk to Hero Street and maybe another 5 to the river front. The only thing I didn't like was the curfew at 11 AM and the quiet plea to be back by 1 AM. I didn't see this information on the hostels.com, but it didn't really effected me because I came back by 1 AM. Still, I like the option to not worry about being back for a time. I don't think the curfew is taken seriously, but there it is.

Comfortable place to stay

My friend and I were the only foreigner in the guest home as I think. Luckily, I know some Korean and speak little because 99% of them spoke Korean to us.. A host was trying to speak our language to make us understand..Even other guests thought we were Korean and asked us some question on the morning in the kitchen..It was so funny. I think this place is easy find and convenient to go to other attraction.

My stay in Backpackers Yeosu when I was in kOREA

My stay at backpackers hostel was really worth the price that I paid for. The host family was very accommodating, although a bit hard up in speaking non-Korean language. Over-all my stay was very fruitful especially having to deal with many Koreans during breakfast time, telling stories about their culture and everyday happenings around Yeosu and other parts of Korea. I was able to meet also a Filipino friend who is working at the hostel. She was kind and helped me further understand the Korean culture and how to deal with these people in just a short time. She drove me around Yeosu and tried to let me meet other Filipino friends who now reside in Korea. I will recommend to my other friends who are visiting Korea to stay in Backpackers Yeosu for a comfortable and cheap stay.

하루숙박했는데 호텔시설 부럽지 않았고 관리가 잘되어 깔끔했습니다 안내해주시는 분들도 다들 친절했고 여수 재방문의 기회가 있으면 1순위로 고려할 계획입니다.

편하고 깨끗한 객실이였지만 층간소음이 조금 있었어요ㅜㅜ 층간소음에 너무 예민하신 분들이면 한 번 고려해보는것도 좋을 것 같아요!!
