New Madeira Hotel

Great location, and nice Hotel overall

Location is great and overall stay was good. However unfortunately during our stay their elevator was not working. Staying on the 2nd level made bringing our cases up and down very ackward.

I was there for Labour Party Conference. The hotel is a bit tired however the staff were friendly and helpful and it met my needs.

The staff was very friendly and accomitating but the life was out and and windows did not open in spite of the heat. We also did not know the hotel was over a bar and on Friday night it was terribly loud and sleep did NOT come.

Was close to things, was clean and had friendly staff. Room was very hot.

Not worth the money, 200 a night for no sea view, old carpets, paint coming off the wall, bed not made by housekeeping! Bathroom was a joke with cracked sink and chipped bath, mixer tap shower didn’t work properly and old ripped sheets on bed with a matching scratched head board!

Poor ventilation, dirty carperts, no room facilities at all, only a few onetime plastic cups for teeth brushing. It was even found some small flying bugs around the room! Shock on high rental with over £400 for two nights!! Extremely not worth for it! Don't Book!! Never go again. Terrible!

It was great - did exactly what it said on the tin 3 bed room bathroom dressimg room overlooking the pier great service from front of house good bar would def stay again Parking was very useful. Lovely ample breakfast

Overall had a good experience staying in this hotel. It was clean and comfortable and checking in was super quick and easy. There tends to be a lot of noise, we could hear thumps every time the people in the room above us moved and our floorboards were so squeaky that if we hadn’t been on the 1st floor anybody staying under us would’ve heard our movements too. The hotel is also connected to a club that runs on Saturdays which results in me having to sleep with earphones in. It wasn’t majorly loud but as we were on the first floor we could hear the music thumping ever so slightly. The walls and windows also seemed to be incredibly thin. It wasn’t expensive, however, and it’s on the seafront in a convenient location so I can’t fault it overall!
