Baugh Motel, SureStay Collection by Best Western

Well, the reviews seem to say this was gonna be a cozy hidden gem.. and it was quaint and if the room had been better i would agree. The room was not filthy, but it wasn't perfectly clean either. Paint on the walls was peeling in the bathroom, the bed was way too hard.. like way way to hard. But it was a cold night and the heater worked great. I really wanted to like this place as the staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful.. but wont stay here again. They need an update big time.

Such a quaint motel! The front desk was very nice. No breakfast because of Covid but bagged breakfast was provided. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on after being in 4 hotels that week. Would stay here again

Nicer than expected. Very comfortable beds. Dog friendly with nice walking areas. Spacious grounds and enough parking for our truck and trailer. Very quiet rooms. Some rooms are way off the road but even our room close to the road was well insulated from any noise. Would definitely come here again

For the price & last minute, it was a great stay. I would stay there again.

I liked all of the trees. I liked the canal grass space out back. I wish they would clean up and make the old mill ruins part of experience. I really enjoyed exploring the grounds and would of loved spending more time out there.

1st room we were given was obviously a pet friendly room as there was a smell and spots (dog pee?) on the rug. 2nd room smelled better, rug ok, but hair in sink and tub, dried up spill in refrigerator, and fingerprints on the door mirror. Tests your confidence that it was cleaned well enough to be covid-19 free. We would stay here often 10 years ago... sad to see it is becoming rundown. Beautiful location, charming, retro, etc. Please just do a better job taking care of it!

Room was very clean and spacious. The furniture appeared new and was tastefully decorated.

Was listed as pet friendly. Glad I called before booking; only 1 pet friendly room was available. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Nice motel. We would stay again. Wish they had some trash cans outside on property.
