Governors Inn

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is very old but clean it was great for one night. The most important thing was the cleaniness of the room I was satisfied. Parking was weird. Due to covid-19 there's no valet parking but we luckily found one parking in front the hotel which was probably only 3 to 4 spots. Very neat pictures of old governor.

Great location downtown, just inconvenient to park on the street.

Only 6 parking spots available. The room was dirty. Black hair in the bed, the tub and al over the bathroom. Asked for new sheets and were told to make up the bed ourselves. Left without even talking a shower. Stains in the bedding. It seemed like this place is rented out by the hour. Arrived late and tired otherwise we would have moved elsewhere. Stay away!!!!!

We booked the loft this time and it was wonderful. The only downside is there is an upstairs window with no covering so it was as though a massive light illuminated the room making it hard to sleep in.

Our quick stay here was great and the staff was equally as good. One neat detail was the rooms are named after governors and include a one page biography. Street parking was free on the weekend and plentiful. Room was clean and comfortable. On the small side, but perfect for our one night stay. Only nitpick was the shower had a crack in the tile.

The doors to the courtyard were hard to open but it was a lovely stay

Good stay. Excellent location! Stayed in a room, with a wall view. Room a bit closet like. Quaint!

Nice and unique hotel in a nice area. Unfortunately, our room and bathroom were not very clean. It was especially disappointing since they had an “extra cleaning for COVID-19” indicator on it.
