Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Midvale

The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The staff is so friendly and courteous. We appreciated the late check out. However, the pool area smelled musty/mildewy and the hot tub steps were slippery- I fell and scraped/bruised my arm as well as bruised my tailbone on the stairs. The hot tub looked dirty and wasn't hot. We didn't dare go in and we had to call twice for towels as there were none stocked. Breakfast was only a blueberry muffin and apple juice- nothing else. It said fruit inside the bag, but there was none.

Room was very clean. A little mix up at check in, but was taken care of fast and we were in our room quick.

I felt like I was ripped off with a non-functioning tv service. No one was able to get it going.😡

Would stay here again. People above us were loud, but that isn’t hotels fault.

It looks very chique! I like that it is user friendly and that the place is very clean.

Stayed for one night. Got fantastic sleep. Shower was nice. Pool could’ve been a little cleaner.

So happy with our stay at Fairfield Inn Suites. It look like the room had been recently remodeled. It was clean, and very very comfortable. The only negative thing that I could say is that the bed was not that comfortable. It is a very nice property and the price was extremely reasonable. We showed up at 4pm and were told our room wasn’t ready yet and they would call when it was. We went to the mall for 2 hrs. When we came back the room still wasn’t ready and the front desk gave us an upgraded room. Our daughter called to find out the pool hours and was told it was reserved for the night. The shower door was heavy and the wheel kept falling off the track and needed to be fixed. Breakfast was your choice of an orange, banana, granola bar and cinnamon roll. Front desk wasn’t wearing a mask.

Wonderful customer service. Prompt check-in. Super clean room.
