Very cozy

This was an amazing find! Hotel is located right along the creek. We had a room with 2 queen beds, kitchenette with everything you could need, dinette table, and wood burning fireplace. The beds were very comfortable with nice and warm comforters, which was very much appreciated since we stayed during the winter. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We loved the room and location didnt interact with staff because of covid regulations the inly negative was the pull out bed in the couch was broken on one side informed the staff who said they would jump on it,

Went here with a few friends while visiting RMNP and we loved it! Our room with the kitchenette was great and had a nice view of some mountains. The service was great and they provided us free firewood for the fireplace. It was pretty close to everything and we would definitely stay here again!

I almost always stay here when I travel to Estes. Great location, rooms and staff.

Needing update, mismatched chairs, silverware, cups, wine glasses. Limited cookware. Couch is uncomfortable. Broken chair.

It was a fantastic stay. The snow made getting around quite difficult, even with all wheel drive, but that’s at no fault of the hotels, obviously. As for the room, it was very quaint and cozy. Bed was made nicely and with a great blanket. Scenery was nice overlooking a little river and some forest, only enhanced with the Christmas lights and snow. One of the outlets had a prong broken off inside it so unusable, but a pair of needle nose pliers would fix that and there were plenty other outlets around. I’d say be careful with the little fireplace heater though, I had to turn the heat in it off because the cord was getting absurdly hot, but running just the light for the extra cozy factor was fine since the room stayed at a steady 68-72 degrees.

Probably the thinnest walls of any hotel/motel I've ever stayed in. I mean you hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors; every foot step above you, every cough, and of course really obnoxious noises you would rather not listen to. We could even hear the bed creaking above us (not from "that" just from someone rolling over...we knew that's what it was because ours made that too in addition to being very uncomfortable). We also paid a little extra for an "upgraded" larger room...which put us connected to the old rickety steps that took people to the upper level. The walls of our room actually shook when people walked up them. Normally I might give a hotel somewhat of a pass as they didn't charge a super high rate, but after getting maybe an hour of sleep due to the conditions, we left the next the morning and called to cancel our second night. Even though we were out well before check out and in plenty of time for them to rent the room out, they refused to refund us the second night, getting angry and saying "well our policy is on our website and what do you want me to do, make the walls thicker???". After some more discussion they said they would look into it when they got back to the office (this was 9am and they still weren't in the office) but we never heard anything else and were charged the full amount. I did give a 2nd star instead of 1 as, even as dated and run down as the property was, it appears they try to keep it clean at least. The location was also good.

Great location in between the trees only a few miles from RMNP and Estes Park downtown. Front desk person was not very helpful with info over the phone but check in was quick. Room was nice and clean but the bed was like sleeping on a box spring, absolutely horrible for such a nice looking place. Bed sheets also had stains and hairs stuck. Other than that, good heat, good ac. Fridge and microwave. Cool place to stay for a night or two.
