The hotel is amazing! Old school charm with update amenities.

Comfortable and historic hotel with views of Lake Superior.

In a COVID age it's hard to rate a hotel. We tried to minimize interaction with staff as the tried to minimize interaction with us. That being stated, the staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The amenities were unavailable- again, COVID, though we did note them. We stayed only briefly, it was an elegant older hotel. The room was a nice mixture of a modern bathroom with an antique, homey feel.

Room was a little expensive for the accommodations. No room service menu in the room and was billed for it although front desk said it was free due to COVID and the restaurant closed. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

It is our 3rd visit. The Hotel is our favorite place to stay in Marquette. Love the vintage feel. The rooms are clean and bright. Will return Soon!

I would like to stay in this hotel in next visit but not 6 th floor where ic an watch beautiful sunset and sun rise

We were disappointed with this hotel. The room was in need of an upgrade... dented furniture, an older TV, and dated decor. Noise from the hallway was very loud. It took 4 steps to get the TV to turn on, and then if cut out several times for a few minutes throughout the evening. We also ordered food from the restaurant, but couldn’t use room service and had to go pick it up. They messed up the order completely, and wouldn’t answer their phone to correct it. Overall, we were very disappointed in our stay, particularly after reserving an expensive room to relax after a busy day of hiking and sightseeing. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Co-vid bkfst leaves much to be desired. Only got a muffin or granola bar, apple, and a bottle of water. Butter for the muffin would have been nice, and a bottle of juice rather than water. Yogurt maybe?
