Budget Host Inn Charleston

Great place to stay for the night. Price is lower because of no ementies. We did not need ementies for a night sleep mid way in our trip

This hotel is dated but our room was comfortable, clean and had a mini-fridge, microwave and free wifi. I liked very much that we could park our car right outside our door. I found it unfortunate that when we arrived at 8:45 PM it was 33 degrees and I had to check in through an outside security window. We would stay here again.

The heat was inadequate. No guide for television. No convenient food or coffee. Staff was completely unavailable.

The people tried to make it right. I ordered a smoking room with king size bed on expedia. Upon arrival, we got a non smoking room woth 2 double beds. There were stink bigs in the room, the tub was clogged so while showering water filled up and we were standing in stagnant water. Then every time we flushed the toilet it would run loudly for about 25 mins and there was a drain on the floor that made our room smell like raw sewage.

For the price room was nice and clean, had a nice view off the river, was very quite and peaceful

Terrible. Do not stay here. They ciuld not provide the accommodations that was reserved but would not issue a refund or offer any other option.

This was a great steal away for the price! Older motel but clean, with updated beds and furnishings. And the river right outside your door?? Oh yeah!! The only reason the ratings are not higher was that the grass was high and we had to walk through it to get to the bench where we sat and watched the sunset over the river, and that the washcloths in the room were stained. Clean, but stained. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking!

A comfortable, clean place to spend the night. No frills, but scrupulously clean, and clean-smelling. We really appreciate that. A Tudor's Biscuit World is very close. Right by the highway entrance ramp. We highly recommend this place!

Very attractive red brick building. Very clean. Lovely riverfront setting. Convenient setting. It has become our regular stopover place when traveling from eastern SC to Detroit or South Bend. Such a great bargain!!! .
